I’ve just reset the academy (2nd time now) kohli and a few others went missing. Well I thought they had until I realised all there names had changed to random names god knows what I’m doing wrong, going to try one last time after this patch I’m tempted to play a county championship

yes took ages to get all the county teams downloaded and them make sure they are pointed to the correct stadiums but its actually worth it.I am finding batting far more challenging than in cricket 22 and bowling is also much better as a fast bowler.

The random names come from the fact that Kohli isn't licensed. Players from Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore (the two IPL teams there aren't licensed) will have generic names anyway unless you download them from the academy, barring overseas players who are licensed in game through either the Hundred, BBL or CPL.

Now I get it I don’t know what happened though they were there yesterday changed today very bizarre I hadn’t changed or done anything. Thanks for clearing it up I was puzzled

No, only on generic ones. ( 1 to 4 I blv) No option to add logos to the licensed ones...

Baffles me that people go nuts when a patch is released that breaks other stuff.

So they take a little longer to correct stuff without causing more issues and people still get the hump.

Slower is better

I am actually fine with BA releasing patches on infrequent basis. I would be fine with 2 patches a month and eventually 1 patch a month as long as its not always updated Kit, Added Bat, etc. Havent played with the new patch but I am hoping that appeal camera bug is fixed.

Finally this bug is fixed!!!, one more W from today’s patch was my game didn’t crash single time in t20 match (2 players)

Seconding this from a general game perspective. Whilst the game still has issues it’s probably the best BA game I’ve played till now and I was ragging on it for weeks. A game that is being very frequently patched to make major changes or fixes is a sign of one that is not in a great state and it does no good when something else is also borked in the process, something I’ve seen with Stellaris ever since their latest DLC and update.

When playing teams without nerfing are you getting genuine wickets ? Edges lbw etc I nerfed all the aus team but in bowling then out for under 100’every time and feels unrealistic, if people are getting decent games without lowering players stats im going to give it another go as I think it may have been my bowling that was a big problem before

Granted I haven’t played in a while as the latest patch wasn’t doing it for me, bought PES 2009 instead, but I always lower skills, but not by much, mid 80s tend to be my world class players an I find that I get all wicket types (all formats) so it’s an exercise worth doing, if you can find the right formula.

Also, has the patch dropped for Xbox series x/s? Not had chance to look yet?
