Cricket 24 - General Discussion

So predictable.

I have the player models now that waste created of those Indian players and they look great. But the kits for the Indian team are gone.

I think when they patch it, it should resolve some of these issues with the creations and downloading.

I’m just going to ride it out and play some exhibition games or big bash where all players look great.
Is the academy working fine? Or there are any server issues ?

After reading the reviews and seeing the videos I don't have the courage to buy this game anymore. It is nothing but Old CRICKET 22 in new packing.

Just played first session of the first ashes test on PS5,still got the 4 wides flying over the keepers head, and the fielders do a weird sideways run before going for the ball.
But I enjoyed it,it definitely feels different.

As per tradition, it'll probably take a few lunar cycles for BA before Cricket 24 is even remotely playable.
In the meantime, I've rekindled my romance with our dear DBC 14. Spent a whopping 5 hours on it yesterday, thanks to all the Cricket 24 shenanigans. :P

Just sat and watched the gameplay for EA/Codies new WRC Game.

This to me is the ultimate example in confidence in a new product. 10 minutes of completely unfiltered gameplay, showing multiple stages, cameras and weather effects so you get the truest feel of what the game has to offer. Now when it comes out in 4 weeks time it could be a solid 6.5/7 but the developers believe in the game. Compare to Bug Ant who have fumbled three straight launches like they're Nathan Lyon at Headingley and they wonder why the masses are vocally cynical.

Big Ant are the only company making cricket games, and to be fair to them they have been the only ones for years. If they ever had competition they would either disappear or improve, it's that simple.
