The commentary will be the last thing to be fixed if its ever fixed.How it got so broken is a different question it was fine in cricket 22.So for the noise about licenses there aren't actually any new leagues/tournements that weren't in cricket 22 and we have lost the ashes licence as well.

Turn commentary off turn bowling hud off plus ball trail and radar all the nonsense and it becomes a really good but difficult game Can’t beat batting with nothing on the screen except bat and ball

The commentary wasn't accurate in Cricket 22. Wrong calls on the numbers of runs, the summaries at the end of overs did not always match what had happened, reviews were good until they failed, then they were a waste (and vice versa). I just play with the sound off now.

Even in Cricket 19 after I huff and puff my way to a last ball victory with 2 wickets in hand the commentary goes like “the result was never in doubt, what a one sided contest”.

I just Raised a Feature Request ticket for Adding the Option Of Wearing/Removing cap While batting in the match so We Can Play with Cap facing spinners and Switch back to Helmet with Pacers that would be a good addition and can be added to transparent Batter keeper etc menu So it will be easy to switch On and back Hopefully they will Like it and add it At least after All the fixes dones

does holding down L2 + R2 only play an air shot in cricket 24? In the older cricket games it was mostly an attacking ground shot unless timed incorrectly, where it would pop up in the air. is this a bug?

If your timing is wrong it will hit high in the air. If you time it properly depending on the length of the ball it might go completely grounded for 4 or aerial for 4 or 6

Already got bored with the game. Probably beacuse its just C22. After a while it feels nothing new. Plus academy is still broken. If anyone has C22 or even C19. Do not buy this. Wait for another iteration in future if the make one. This one even after patches won’t reach there what we were expecting.
