maybe they'll take the requirement away with a patch after the next game is released.

Me too have uninstalled reinstalled uninstalled and restored verified but this error continues. Should l go for refund?

This is a server issue. No point in reinstalls. The only option here is to wait for the servers to come back or you can request a refund if you want to (I would not if I were you)

correct, but I was logged in before the servers went down and played well after the servers went down, its only when i logged and started the game again I could not get in to play, therefor the ability to play the game while the server is down is there, they just got to disable the need to login to the server to play single player....

Absolutely bollocks that they cannot fix it and have a solution by now. I do not care about the time zone difference, you are GAMING COMPANY that charges top dollar for your GAMES. Also they should realize and stop this nonsense of needing internet to play the game. Online or Academy I understand, normal offline gameplay? Meh!

Arent the AA gaming company? EA or not.. They dont behave like smaller companies when asking for money, why should customers not hold them accountable at the highest level when it comes to problems?
