If that's the case after how good Tiebreak has ended up with proper care and attention, that should wind up being their last foray into cricket, as it shows they're either happy with a substandard product, or they just don't care either way
How can the developers be so dumb to not fix stamina which was working in cricket 19.simple things like weather and stamina drain can lead to great gameplay.
Better to skip Cricket 26 and skip all BugAnt games they are not caring towards to cricket games.Too many bugs unpolished products with AAA range price tags
And again it will be released with zero marketing beforehand, and the first look of it will be some random photo someone took while some people are playing it on a console in some shop. And everyone will be trying to guess what's actually new based on some low-quality screenshot. Do not fall for it again people. Unless it is released as early access I have little hope of it being any better than the previous 3 iterations, where, ironically, 19 was the best out of those 3.
I’m genuinely enjoying tie break, and I’d love to think the same fidelity would come into cricket. It’s got so much right
2 examples:
1: the sound is tremendous. Especially incidental sound - crowd, squeak on hard courts etc. this used to be great in the cricket games (the announcer, the players shouting, the “test” hum) but was so awful in c24x
2: the physics is believable and connected to the input and the graphics much more than any of the cricket games. What’s more it’s intuitive to pick up. I realised I was hitting the net too much because I was hitting flat shots on lower bounce, and standing deeper and hitting the ball when it had bounced higher let me hit flat shots better. I can’t recall a similar thing in any of the cricket games where the difference between creaming a 6 and nicking off has never been clear.
Playing tie break has convinced me that BA could certainly take cricket forward significantly. I imagine it would need a significant engine overhaul and I have my doubts that we will get that, but the credibility of the studio as a whole has gone up massively in my eyes. (I am also lucky btw as I seem to have bought the game shortly after a patch that I believe from what I’ve read made huge improvement).

Tiebreak is incredible (if you ignore doubles), rugby on the other hand may as well be closer to being canned than to release. So much fundamentally wrong there.
