I have lost all my data in Cricket24 - Downloaded players, bats, teams. It is back to zero. Can someone help me if there is a way to get my data back?

Is it saved to the cloud? Go to storage and see what saved game data you have.
Back on this after the missus got me a ps5 for Christmas. Had a t20 with some custom sliders and it wasn't the absolute horror show it once was. Couple of fielding glitches but I can live with those.
One annoying thing that I guess will never be fixed is that clear scripting where it's obvious the AI have to somehow score a boundary and it doesn't matter where you bowl or put your fielders. They're even fetching it from about 6th stump and glancing it over square leg which seems to defy the laws of the universe.

I'm also starting up all my old sliders again. Eventually I'll have the following...

I'll be tweaking them as I go but the general gist is to try and mirror how a test would go in real life. If I play a test at the Gabba for example, I might go Pace and bounce days 1/2/3 where I'd need to play a lot off the back foot, can still score but it gets harder as it goes on.

One thing I found that helped ( a little) was messing with the AI shot power. It stopped them from clearing the boundary at will and those scripted shots ended up being catches.
Problem is and I remember talking to devs about this, but the AI have to in my eyes have some kind of get out clause because eventually us nerds will always bowl perfect balls and if that meant they can’t smash them they would be useless.
I do agree though the shot selection to the ball bowled is the immersion breaking bit.

How can I save my career mode into cloud? I can upload the teams into academy using the share option provided, not sure on saved games.

I do not have PS+ I had to delete the game and reinstall. I was facing issue in downloading content, frustrated I reinstalled the game.. 40 gb till I play Cricket24. Never happened anything linke this in Cricket 19 and 22.

Wow so the AI batsman edging the ball straight in to the ground before going to the keeper/slips is a thing I must've had 25+ of them in one test innings.

One to keep in mind when Cricket 26 rolls around, and people are contemplating if it'll be the same as previous releases in the series......
For the record, the game has been out 14 months. For a game that is constantly fixing things (and it appears still has stuff to fix), that doesn't feel like a lot to ask for in terms of customer support.
Add in the lack of features that were promoted pre-release and never appeared, and the lack of any kind of DLC, and you can count me in as part of the "Idiot Army" I reckon

4 sessions to bat out, couple of decent partnerships, you’re pretty much there, maybe…
One thing I seem to have lost that I had in 22 was outfield catches. But I don’t know if that’s the pitches or my re skilling into 22!

Only ones I tend to get now, are leading edges that carry to mid on/off. They are infrequent which I guess is good, but nice when they happen. They also tend to happen at the correct time - batter trying to work to leg
