I am pretty excited about CC 2009. But to my horror, CC 2007 full version was/is crashing a lot on my pc. I won't take chance untill the bug is driven off.

I was critical on release what with all the bugs but Oli's managed (or claims to) have got rid of 90% of the issues that were affecting people especially the Bowler changing bug.

I've been in/around this game ever since its release way back in 2006, I've spoken with Oli now and again and he seems like a geniune guy. He's always buzzing around the forums and does posts, so he must read them.
I'm sure if theres a problem with the game, he'll sort it out.
Ofcourse, if he'd just released an player editor, the complaints would be halved! I mean c'mon, Nic Pothas as an over-sea player?
Actually there's a fair few wrong things with the Hampshire side, Tomlinson deserves a better rating after last season, he isn't a world-beater but he certainly is a fair decent County circuit player. As is Dawson, not used him much with signing Mustaq, but he should be a bit better rated it would seem. I think Ervine is a bit too effective with his RM bowling, but I'll take it

Looking forward to the update, should be out tonight if Oli's right in what he said earlier. Glad I stuck my ?20 down, will look forward to giving the game a proper go without having to worry about not picking/bowling the spinners :laugh

Not even an official e-mail stating the Administrator has deleted your account, I was sort of disappointed.

Actually what I'm thinking is Oli's forum administrating skills are not as high as his programming skills, and he was thinking of a quick fix to delete any posts mentioning a fix to the trial thing. So the fastest solution might have been to just decided to delete everything I said.
Just a theory.

I've had the crashing thing aswell.
But the IPL was enjoyable. Kinda unrealistic though.
As a newbie to CC I would just like to say the headlines and mini articles are fantastic. Every game should have that. Good on him.

Really enjoying the trial atm. Playing the IPL with Punjab and it's gone really well. Finished 2nd in the league and won the playoffs. Bopara hit the highest innings of the tournament with 148 off 69 (the score being 248-5). I just had him on all out attack throughout and it payed off. My bowlers were key though. Simon Jones and Sreesanth were the 1st and 2nd in highest wicket takers. Lee would've been up there if he didn't have international duty as well.
I haven't had any crashes up to this point. The season has just finished, at the end of may and it just keeps crashing and I can't go past this point. :S
