Alrighty - so apparently, some small-time shop owner decided to burn CD's with the demo version of Cricket Heroes on it and sell it. Luckily it didn't come with any kind of registration key or it may have spelled the end of CH

I'll be including a warning in future patches with a link to the real game's website. I'll also be changing the registration algorithm and will re-issuing those who've already registered with new usernames and keys. Please check your PM's as soon as the next update goes live.

Also, I was a bit quick on the trigger earlier - I will still be updating the site with demo versions.

How did you come to know that? It's good you came to know in time. Wont be surprised if it happened in Asia because in every street; you see guys selling pirated games.

@Dipak: One my good friends on the forum told me Sadly, it's not limited to Asia. Africa is also rife with bootleggers and pirates. Hopefully it's a sign that people think the demo is decent though :P

It is, it defnitely shows that someone thinks it's a game that can be monetised. Must surely be massive potential for the management side as an IOS game.

Possibly even linked into being able to sim/manage while on the phone and carry on and play the same career whilst on PC. Just an idea again

That's an idea I've given quite a bit of thought but unfortunately I don't have the time

Yeah, I'd love to quit my day job to work exclusively on this game, but, alas, at the current rate...it's never going to happen :P

The silly thing is somewhere like India is the potential market to allow such a thing, but their actual market is so twisted and corrupt with such little regulation that in reality it's barely ever going to provide even anything worth targetting for years.

Yup, sadly that's the case with most 3rd world countries (South Africa included). Corruption is so rife that it's become an every-day occurrence and people don't bat an eye-lid anymore when it happens. Sad, but true.

Finally was able to play Cricket Heroes With launcher thing its just amazing Played a whole Hong Kong Six match
