Hey everyone,

new update is in the 1st post - release 5 and update 9. Please download whichever is appropriate. I'm going to take this weekend off, but if you find any bugs I'll gladly fix it.

Cheers
Kurt

No referral system again? Oh well, I'm still looking forward to playing this update. Downloading now.

tbh, for your next update, I'd just look at getting the referral system in, and then make that as a whole new update. That way you get it out of the way without having to focus on other things.

And do you have an idea of when you'll make your next release? If it is a long way away, then I could do the Englsih teams in that time but if it is a short time, I'll do the New Zealand teams.

@hedger: Yup, the next update will include the referral system. It *might* include the new limited overs formats, but I can't guarantee it. If all goes well, it should be ready by next Friday...

EDIT: I should just mention that there *are* some things I neglected to finish in the latest release:

- challenge mode hasn't been fixed yet (I need to import the games from cricinfo)
- all umpires currently have the same attributes (this can be changed in the umpires.bdb file)
- referral system isn't in place yet (I started with it but didn't get time to finish it)
- pitch ads haven't been added yet
- management mode hasn't been fixed
- spider graph isn't populated when running in simulation mode

I was going to go do a match between Australia and South Africa but the players are the default ones you had, so my updated player roster isn't in it. So I'm just going to play a Sheffield Shield season with New South Wales. Trying to not play too many Internationals.

My lineup:

1. Phillip Hughes
2. Phil Jaques
3. Usman Khawaja
4. Steven Smith
5. Nic Maddinson
6. Peter Nevill+
7. Steve O'Keefe
8. Nathan Hauritz
9. Stuart Clark
10. Josh Hazlewood
11. Trent Copeland

Queensland:

1. Ryan Broad
2. Wade Townsend
3. Chris Lynn
4. Nathan Reardon
5. James Hopes
6. Chris Simpson
7. Chris Hartley+
8. Ben Cutting
9. Chris Swan
10. Alister McDermott
11. Luke Feldman

Toss:

Queensland won the toss and elected to bat

Updates coming soon.

----------

And about your points, challenge mode doesn't really matter, but you should fix the others although none are really urgent.

I'd like it if you could have fixed it before the next update (well I suppose it has to be a new update) as I would have liked to play with my new players in Internationals but oh well, I can wait, I guess.

Awesome :thumbs

And Clark strikes early, in the third over of the match. A beautiful ball on a good length to Ryan Broad who just felt for it, catching a slight outside edge and a regulation catch for Peter Nevill. Queensland are 2/1.

----------

And low Reardon has gone and ran himself out. Suicide run. He's inside edged it millimetres past the stumps second ball and they set off for a crazy single before Reardon is finally sent back but it was too late as Nevill took off the bails. 2/2 and NSW are on fire.

- pitch ads haven't been added yet
I will give all the mockups and the pitchads with required resolutions and format by starting of next month, as currently having my exams.I will play a 10 overs match to get my mind fresh and will tell you all the bugs and required suggestions.

Copeland brought on and a beautiful away swinger does the tricks. A bit fuller of a good length, swinging away from the left hander nicely who just went at it, and got a feint edge through to Nevill who was being busy this innings, taking his second catch and Queensland are in deep trouble at 3/3.

@hedger: It *should* be fixed - give them a few more overs? They might just be ultra defensive because of the wickets lost. Think I might need to update the aggression to also be based on how many dots have been faced.

@Meet: Thanks, that'll be a great help.

Well they finally scored a boundary but I was bowling a bit too straight to the right hander with no mid wicket :p

----------

And they lose another wicket, Hartley trying to get going, as he cut a ball which was way too close to him and it balooned up to O'Keefe in the gully and Hazlewood has his second wicket. Queensland 9/4 off 11.1 overs.

@hedger: Hopefully the AI will pick up now :/ Anyway, I'm going to mess with the aggression for the next update too. I've attached the updated team database. You can just replace your existing one in the ./data folder with this one.
