You got to be tweaking kidding me. The game stopped working when one fielder through it to the fielder who was lying on the ground. Now I got to play the whole tweaking game again. Oh well, I'll just play Internationals now.

----------

And you might want to get rid of the previous players from the 2 nations. It doesn't help when you have 2 sets of players.

@Meet: I don't quite follow - what do you mean when you say "restart it"?
Stop the simulation and again start it.They scored 97 with loss of 6 wickets. When I came to bat an error came up and unfortunately I have to quit it.Now need to prepare for tomorrow, I will play it on the other day now.:P

@hedger: Bah, I remember you mentioned that bug earlier. Looks like I'll be bug hunting this weekend. Also, that makes sense I'll replace the players with those that you made.

@Meet: Yes, when you run the simulation it won't prompt you to choose bowlers/batsmen. You will be prompted before you run the sim though. I'll look at the crash - haven't tried slog mode in ages...

Ok, playing an ODI between Australia and South Africa.

Australia:

1. Shane Watson
2. Tim Paine+
3. Shaun Marsh
4. Michael Hussey
5. Cameron White
6. Callum Ferguson
7. Steven Smith
8. Nathan Hauritz
9. Mitchell Johnson
10. Ryan Harris
11. Doug Bollinger

South Africa:

1. Graeme Smith
2. Hashim Amla
3. Colin Ingram
4. AB de Villiers+ (I think the new player wasn't included as he had the exact same name as the old one because of the initials)
5. Jacques Kallis
6. JP Duminy (Same as AB)
7. Albie Morkel
8. Johan Botha
9. Morne Morkel
10. Dale Steyn
11. Imran Tahir

Umpires: Simon Taufel and Ian Gould

Ground: Melbourne Cricket Ground

Toss: South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first

I've decided to change to South Africa so I can have a bat.

----------

Good start from the Saffers but Harris breaks the opening partnership, Amla trapped in front for 13, South Africa 35/1 after 7.1 overs, Smith 19*.

Ryan Harris - 1.1-0-1-1
Doug Bollinger - 4-0-19-0
Mitchell Johnson - 2-0-14-0

----------

Was really looking for a big total but Smith just got run out for 44. I'm 108/2 after 19.3 overs with Ingram on 44*. AB at the crease and I'm just going to look to slog with him.

----------

Another damn run out. AB de Villiers run out for 42 off 16 balls. Colin Ingram is now 76* off 63. I'm 182/3 after 25 overs.

You really need to make pro harder for batting.

@hedger: Thanks for the feedback as always - what can be improved to make batting harder? How did you score your runs with AB?

In boundaries mostly, all around the ground. Make picking the gap harder (I pick out the gap in the infield a lot more often than when I don't), and make the fielders run quicker. I scored 3 all run fours with AB and I scored a 3 just before when I hit it barely past the bowler but the mid off fielder took an age to run in and pick up the ball.

I think easy/normal should be the difficulty that pro is (of course others are having trouble with batting for some reason so maybe normal).

Yeah, it's normally 50-50 whether a fielder on the boundary will get to it, as I normally try and hit it to the fielder so it's not so boring.

@hedger: Alrighty - I'll see what I can do to improve it. I'll increase the fielder running speed and maybe make them react quicker?

Yeah, that would be good. And to show how easy it is to bat, I decided to bat with Tahir and he is currently 36* off 19 balls.

----------

Imran Tahir scored his century :p off only 44 balls.
