Given that my previous highest score was about 35 I was very proud of my achievement personally.
By far my worst was a Ashes game where I used England to bowl out Australia for 117 runs on Day 1 of the game, but then got bowled out myself for 11 runs

Hehe, sounds about right. I still struggle to make big scores consistently.
EDIT: Playing in India is easier though since the ball doesn't seam or swing as much. I'm pretty confident against spinners so I can usually rack up >200 in ODIs.

Yeah it is definitely a learning curve with this game which is good as it keeps challenging you.

Yes well that was my thing with that Ashes game, the swing at Lords is incredible and with James Anderson you have quite a bit of fun getting guys to edge it etc.
I think Zim also has flat wickets. I haven't had a chance to try them much.

Haven't played since a while but when I used to play, I always played on the Easy difficulty setting (2nd lowest) since I was pretty bad at anything higher. I was able to score quite a few runs. Hopefully when I get some time, I will not only play the game at a higher difficulty level, but also post a small review which is pending since quite some time.

Ok I'll have to see if I can get that scorecard some time. My second PC in as many weeks packed up yesterday so I'll have to see if I can get the stuff off of it.
