Yeah, I don't mind if you don't fix it today. It would give me more opportunity to check out the UDRS system with them missing the ball a lot. With LBWs, a lot of the time I can't tell whether they've hit the ball or it's come off the pad when they're defending so I could be appealing when it's come off the middle of the bat or won't we able to appeal for LBW when they've hit the ball?

Ok, so there will be an appeal meter? The good thing is that it won't come up with the Out message as soon as it hits the pad (if it had been given out). Anyway, get on with your work. I don't want to distract you much more. I will wait for the release.

Hi everyone,

new version is up in the 1st post. Please keep in mind that there a quite few fundamental changes, so I *may* have broken something (or many things).

Notes:

Cone batting

- can be turned on/off in the gameplay menu
- A - rotate cone left, B - rotate cone right
- W - flip cone up, X - flip cone down
- to play a shot - hold in B1/B2/B3/B4 and press S when you want to hit the ball

Referrals

- each side gets 2 referrals in each inning for ODIs and 5 day tests

LBW Referrals

- when the ball hits the pad, an Appeal meter will pop up in the lower-left of the screen
- this will run down in about 2.5s
- to appeal for LBW, press B1
- if the umpire turns it down, you'll be presented with the option to refer the decision
- if the umpire upholds the decision, the computer will be presented with the option to refer

Snick Referrals

- sometimes the batsman will get a thin snick (no audio just yet, but you should see some deviation if you look closely)
- the Appeal meter will pop up as soon as the ball passes the bat - this does not necessarily mean that there was a snick
- press B1 to appeal
- if the umpire turns it down, you'll be presented with the option to refer the decision
- if the umpire upholds the decision, the computer will be presented with the option to refer

If you have any questions, comments or bug reports, you know where to find me :)

Cheers
Kurt

I'm just being able to play a ball or two before I see a message saying, "Cricket.EXE has stopped working".

Tried it thrice and it crashed on the first delivery the first time and on the second delivery on the second and the third attempt.

@Meet: B1/B2/B3/B4 are A/B/C/D in the edit controls menu.

@Yudi: Crap - lemme see what I did wrong...

----------

@Yudi: Can you give me some more details about the match you're trying to play please? I can play an ODI between SA and Aus fine...

First one was India vs Pakistan, second was between South Africa and West Indies and I don't remember the teams of the third match as I was pissed off and selected random teams.

@Meet: You can change the controls in the control editor menu.

@Yudi: Thanks, were you bowling first or batting first? Also, what format were you playing? I tried to play a T20 between India and Pakistan now (bowling & batting) and it seems to work fine. Did you download release 6?
