Hi @kurtkz,
Last version of PakPassion patch seems to be the most stable one yet :).

I want to understand some of the fields in Roster Editor
and how much they affect the sim.
I want to know little bit of more info regarding
1. Long/Short format (-100 to 100)
What happens at -100 , 0 and 100 ?
2. Spin/Pace Mod (0.00 to 2.00)
What are the affects with (0.00 . 1.00 and 2.00)
3. Front/Line Mod (0 to 100)
Affects at 0 and 100.

Is it possible that in future you can implement a help feature inside Editor where hovering a mouse over fields in Editor gives brief description of that field.
 
@jeetu: Thank goodness :) Just keep in mind if you're using the sim for official business and there's a new patch, always test the non-PP version first. The code is the same, the PP version uploads to an official database though. When you're happy that the patch works 100%, then switch back to the PP version.

As requested, the fields:

Long/Short mod format - this value gets added to batting/bowling skill depending on the format. Say the player's default batting skill is 75. If his long mod is +10 and his short mod is -5, his actual batting skill would be 85 in tests and 70 in ODIs. The same applies for bowlers.

Spin/Pace mod - this value gets multiplied with the batting skill. Say the player's default batting skill is 75. If his spin mod is 0.75 and his pace mode is 1.1 then his actual batting skill would be 56 when facing spinners and 82 when facing seamers.

Front/Back mod - this value (/100) gets multiplied with the batting skill. Assume the player's batting skill is 75 and his front mod is 1.1 and his back mod is 0.75. If he plays a cover drive his actual skill would be 82, but if he played a pull his skill would be 56.

I'll see if I have time to include that info in the editor. Worst case scenario it will be included in the manual (which I'm rewriting now).

Alrighty - new patch is ready:

- fixed bug with multiple referrals
- fixed names of games on resume screens
- tweaked inside & top edges
- improved AI batting animation timing
- improved AI batting
- improved effectiveness of bouncers
- improved ball-stadium collision
- added spell summary stats
- updated font for Mac

I think I've reached the point now where there's not too many more features missing. The focus now will be on the manual and then...I don't know. If there's any features you'd like to see let me know.

@Pat: I thought long and hard about that...that would mean that you'd need to play the game with a controller...if everyone is OK with that, I'd be happy to make the changes :)

I've been trying to strip down unnecessary features anyway, so that would be welcome ;)
 
There's the exporter we spoke about, although maybe that would be a custom build. I haven't had time to build the schema yet though, work is so busy!
 
OK, another small patch:

- tweaked AI pacing in T20s
- tweaked pull shot
- fix for crash when viewing your physique in career mode

<no team> entries aren't coming up in the roster editor, it's loading blank and so it fills it in with whatever the last player selected was (I remember CC having this issue a while back)
