Left - rotate cone left
Right - rotate cone right
Up - flip cone to top
Down - flip cone to bottom

To play shot:

S - defensive
A/B/C/D - as normal

i can move the cone now but still the player is not playing shots... when the ball goes to keeper i can run and cum baq but shot is not being played..

1.Every ball, cone should be at a default place.(Straight position)
2.Yeah!Even I am not able to play any shot, and also when keeper throws the ball to the bowler, he runs a bit even beyond the pitch and then we are redirected to next ball.That should not happen.

And cone for obvious reasons should be bigger for bowlers, for you have make it smaller for em.I am 0-7.

ya the cone size is behaving opposite...
i noted the bowler taking ball and runing but I thought its a bug coz of my trial version.. may b it dun behave this way in full one..
Anyhow it is a problem...
so I should stop cone mode and come baq to standard
I hope it is fixed in next one...

Any chance for implementing the controls I mentioned?

@Meet: The controls you wanted have too many impacts on game play:

1. you can only move the batsman before the ball is bowled
2. you can't control how much you step down the pitch
3. you will need to press up to 3 keys to play a shot

Essentially, the only difference between the control scheme you mentioned and mine is that you need fewer key presses with mine and you still have full control over the batsman. You can actually emulate your scheme using mine:

Left arrow:To move batsman left
Right arrow:To move batsman right

This will still work as normal.

After bowl is bowled-
Cone Controls=
Left arrow:To move cone left
Right arrow:To move cone right
Up arrow:To move cone behind the wickets
Down arrow:To move across the wickets(when its behind the wickets)

This also works, you just need to hold down I to rotate the cone.

Batting controls=
A: Defense
D: Lofted
S: Drive

Foot movements=
Shift: Back foot
Ctrl: Front foot
Space: Down the pitch

This is the biggest change - you press S and an action button to play a shot. The action button is the same as for the standard mode.

To run=
A: Run
D: Return back

This still works the same.

I don't quite like that you can make the batsman come down the pitch before the bowl is bowled.So I suggested to use a key for that particular shot, and set the default distance a batsman covers when coming down the wicket.Also this shot gives more power to the ball to travel long distance.

I + A - rotate left

If you could remove usage of "I" from the above controls, it would be a lot better.

To play a shot:

S + I = front foot shot
S + O = back foot shot
S + K = lofted front foot shot
S + L = lofted back foot shot

Instead using "S" it would be better to assign particular keys for back foot and front foot and also this control scheme doesn't provides to defend the ball.
Thats what I feel and by which I will enjoy playing with cone batting mode, or I should better stick to standard mode.
Also what about scorebar, bars and field radar?Do you want any change?

@Harshshah: Thanks for the feedback and bug report - I haven't checked the create tournament functionality in ages, so I probably broke it somewhere along the line. I'll see if I can fix it in the next update.

@Meet: I think if you just press S it plays the appropriate defensive shot, but I need to double check that. Also, for now, the UI graphics that you sent me are fine. I haven't had a chance to add them yet, but I will do so.
