Hi everyone,

release 7 (update 11) is out (in the first post as usual) - it's not a major update from the previous version but should be a bit more stable and should *hopefully* provide more of a challenge.

Let me know what you think! In the meantime I'm going to start working on the new game modes.

@ rahulkhush, if you want to help me with Indian teams, then give me a list of the teams with their players (Don't have any players put down in 2 different teams) and if possible, what sort of player are they. So like put their player name, their batting hand and bowling type, batting position (Opener, top order, middle order, lower order, tailend), batting type (Accumulator, Big Hitter, if none then don't bother), bowling speed (kph) which best suits the player although don't worry about spinners and just choose probably around their fastest speed they can bowl so for a player who regulary bowls 132kph, then say 110-135 (Choose out of 105-125, 110-130, 110-135, 115-140, 115-145, 120-150, 120-155), Type of bowler (Swing/Seam/Swing & Seam/No Movement, and preferably tell me whether what type of swing/seam they bowl more), Fielding Rating (Average/Good/Great/World Class)

Sorry if that's hard to read or is too much work but I may as well try and get as much out of you as possible :p And it will be more accurate. Here's an example, for let's say Dale Steyn.

Dale Steyn RHB, RF, Tailender, 120-155 kph, Swing Bowler, Average Fielder

Let's say for Brad Haddin (Keeper), then I'd just say. (For the keeping rating, compare it to the best, so Boucher would be World Class and the rest would probably be great or worse)

Brad Haddin RHB, WK, Middle-Lower Order, Big Hitter, Great Keeper
 
@Meet: I guess there's nothing urgent at the moment - there's a few things I need to change in the code to fix some of the UI graphics. If you want you can do the run lights?

EDIT: Testing the MTN40 format - 40 overs, 12 players per side. You can substitute 1 player at any point. Playing the MTN40 series - Cobras vs Titans. Cobras chose Yasien Vallie as their extra player. They slid to 110-6 before swapping in Yasien Vallie for Monde Zondeki. They're now recovering nicely at 136-6 :)

I will try to do something to get the running lights and timing bar in.If you still remember the mockup I made for timing bar, then should I edit it and get the running lights somewhere along the box?
 
@Meet: Can you put the run lights in a separate layer in the .psd?

@hedger: Holy crap, the split-innings ODI's have a lot of rules :P I should be able to add it though - working on that now.
 
Even if you wouldn't have told me I would have do it:P, and I will also design 2 bar scorebar for CH.:)
Just got a new idea for implementation of UDRS, when the ball hits the pads just put up a text on the bottom bar the reviews remaining for both the teams with a timer in the brackets at the end of sentence.We need to press a button assigned within the time to review it.

If we don't want to review it, we can just press enter.Or if you want to put up appeal button, then every time it goes pass the bat or hits the pads then put up -"Press _ button to appeal" within the time(I suggest around 3s for appeal and 5s to review) and if the appeal is put down then what I said above.
 
@Meet: There's already an appeal bar that runs out (I think I set it to 2.5s) - what I will do, though, is add info to the score bar about how many referrals you have left. Good idea.
 
Should I make a default scorebar for everyone?It will be good as different scorebars for different countries for you as well as for me will be difficult.
 
@Meet: Yeah, I agree - we can just 1 score bar. Make it whatever colour you think appropriate :) (I quite like the light blue of WC score bar)
