NSW vs Queesland : Big bash match

NSW won the toss and elected to bat

Going good at the moment. NSW are 48-2 after 7 overs. I can find some really good improvement in the gameplay.

@Aditya: It's a work-in-progress but I think I'm getting there (albeit slowly). Do you mind updating the post with a mini-scorecard like hedger does please?

NSW : 135 all out in 18.5 overs.

Batting Card :-
Katich 44(37)
Watson 15(13)
Clarke 2(4)
Khawaja 20(16)
Haddin 4(6)
Henriques 14(10)
Smith 3(4)
Hauritz 11(11)
Lee 11(6)
Bollinger 2(6)
Clark 0(0)

Bowling Card :-
Harris 4-0-26-2
Rimmington 4-0-30-1
Swan 4-0-25-1
Hopes 2-0-23-1
Carseldine 2-0-16-0
Laughlin 2.5-0-10-0

Sorry, I forgot to add the dismissal type. I saved the match and now when I try to load it, the bowling card is shown and when I select a new bowler the game crashes and I get the same old error.

Ok, going to try a Sheffield Shield now with NSW.

Toss:

Queensland won the toss and elected to bat first

@hedger: Thanks, I'm going to upload a new version today that should hopefully fix/improve some of the problems you highlighted yesterday.

Queensland have completely fell apart at the hands of NSW after being 1/58 to fall to 5/91.

Broad opened the innings for Queensland and scored a handy 42 while Townsend defended well before falling to Steven Smith who came on to take the breakthrough wicket as he inside edged it through to Copeland at short leg. Smith struck again though as Broad edged him behind to Nevill as they were 2/58. Reardon and Carseldine looked to consolidate but Hauritz found his edge and a good catch from Jaques at first slip had him on his way for 2 off 19. Lynn and Carseldine put on a small partnership but Clark was brought back into the attack and struck straight away, getting the edge of Carseldine where Khawaja took a comfortable catch at slip. And Hauritz struck again next over to get revenge on Lynn for hitting him for 3 boundaries previously, bowling him and Hartley and Hopes are currently at the crease on 1 not out each, Queensland 91/5 after 32 overs.

Scorecard:

Ryan Broad c Nevill b Smith 42 (61)
Wade Townsend c Copeland b Smith 13 (38)
Lee Carseldine c Khawaja b Clark 19 (52)
Nathan Reardon c Jaques b Hauritz 2 (19)
Chris Lynn b Hauritz 12 (16)
Chris Harley not out 1 (4)
James Hopes not out 1 (2)

Bowling:

Trent Copeland 5-0-17-0
Brett Lee 4-1-27-0
Stuart Clark 6-3-13-1
Steven Smith 8-4-13-2
Nathan Hauritz 9-4-21-2

btw, could you get rid of the detail thing on the field editor. It's all made up lines since there's a hundred lines after the first over and they haven't hit the ball to nearly all places on the field and the fielders are occassionally set to where those lines are and I need to always turn it off whenever I go into the field editor as well.

@hedger: No problem - those lines are suggestions of where fielders could be placed. The darker the line, the more likely it is the ball will go through that position. I'll change it so it only shows where the ball went. By default, I'll turn it off though.

Oh, I actually thought it was where the ball had been hit but it's fine but you should at least give you an option to leave it on or off, not have it on everytime you go into the editor and have to turn it off.

And I'm getting bored again, they don't score any singles and don't even try to.

kurtkz, I was just wondering that could we have match commentary in the game? Similar to games like cricket07 and AC09.

@hedger: Cool, I'll definitely look into why they're not taking singles. I haven't been giving the longer formats much attention, but I'll do that now and see what I can come up with.
