OK - new patch (2883):

- tweaks to batting & bowling

@Allrounder18: You'll need to play with the settings to see what works. Like I said, the relationship between the variables isn't linear so there's no way for me to tell you exactly how it'll play out. (This is the reason I don't like giving settable variables)
 
Spinner keep bowling waist high no ball and there is a long pause when the bowl is about to reach (15 seconds) the batsmen , this is keep happening , I think i have to end task the game,

Lob shot issue is still there (played on 75 speed)

Triangle ball is there as well , no edition to reverse or any ball related attributes , just changed some shot speed.

Game momentarily pauses (rare though) too when the bowler is about to release the ball
 
If we make any change to Reverse_amount in cfg then bowlers cant bowl any other swing/seam except reversing the ball (Tried to 100 all pitch in exhibition Aus vs Saf bowlers were only able to bowl reverse), Cant use simulation because it never ends , had to use the stop button and now see the scores , dunno what happened in the last few patches the game has broken , reverse amount was also working fine and bowlers can bowl other swing too.

Cool, I know what's wrong with the spin bowling. I'm not sure why you're still seeing a triangle shaped ball. Please send me your data\options.cfg and special.cfg files.
 
I think you accidentally have disabled other type of movement from the game as even on default settings (i-e no changes to special.cfg) the ball doesnt move at all even on 100 pitch in exhibition game (Aus vs Ind) , also Simulation is corrupt too. No fault in my settings as i havent changed them (except for the game speed)[DOUBLEPOST=1441732501][/DOUBLEPOST]Didnt upload the special.cfg as I didnt make any change in it all the values are set to 1 (Double checked it)

Nope, I haven't changed anything to do with the swing/seam. Swing/seam still works for me. The full ball issue with spinners is definitely an issue though.

If you don't send me those files there's nothing I can debug on my side because it still works fine for me...
 
Here you go :) , how come ball still moving for you?[DOUBLEPOST=1441732776][/DOUBLEPOST]BTW early pull shot issue is only present when change the game speed to 75 (have to manually change the shot animation to 1.7 If I wants to play at game speed 75) , how ever on 65 the early pull shot issue is non existent.

I'm wondering - Do the shot animations have consistant frame lengths?
 
New patch (2884):

- removed speed setting from Launcher
- tweaked batting & bowling
- tweaked ball damage
- fix bug with spin bowling
 
True. Thought that might be causing the incorrect syncing when the timescale changes.

for the record, are the 20 select frames in the shot animations triggered to play from varied starting points based on the timing of a player's action? correct me if I'm wrong.
 
I've removed the gamespeed option from Launcher so it should be better now :)

It doesn't change the starting point of the animation but it does alter the speed at which the animation plays. So if you play late, it plays the animation faster. Not sure if that should be removed or not, but it seems to work alright for now.[DOUBLEPOST=1441749477][/DOUBLEPOST]Playing the animation from a later frame might actually be a better solution though. It'd look a little jerky but that might not be a bad thing...
