Because of the variation in apparent and actual pitch settings the simulation scores and play mode scores are way off , for eg if I set the pitch to 1.15 the in game pitch is around 50 +-random element (instead 75 as per editor) however the sim scores are based on 75 pitch sittings hence low scores and low bowling avgs so in combination it doesnt feel realistic when your AI players struggling in play mode to take wkts but when simming they are taking bucket loads of wkt , i think you should base the sim scores on 50 in game pitch when the pitch setting in editor is set to 1.15 or you can change the play mode actual pitch to editor setting (1.15 = 75 +- random element) so as to sync the sim and play scores.
Currently in order to balance things out I continuously have to save and exit the career game fire up the editor to change the pitch settings , and fire up the game and play a match then again save and exit , fire up the editor change the pitch setting , fire up the game and then sim the games , its a painful process , thats why I was asking for VARIATION slider to be activated in career mode.
I think the random element should be b/w -15 + 15 max.
Also I have no idea why AI can't bowl reverse swing now in T20 , they very well can in the previous patches my career player can bowl reverse in t20s though.
AI don't go for run chase in the last 4/5 overs , they don't slog often and always go for ground shot even when the required run rate is over 20 and they have 4/5 wkts in hand.
Is it possible for you to add the Fast sim score mechanism in CFG? like if we can change the avg scores and avg wkts per inning (with respect to pitch settings) in t20 ,od and fcs?
That's not how the sim works at all. It simulates every delivery (with physics) with the outcome determined by said physics and (again) a complex probability distribution. This will take way too long to do so unfortunately for now you're going to be stuck with what's available.[DOUBLEPOST=1442159929][/DOUBLEPOST]That's just the nature of career mode, unfortunately. The skills are on the low-end so the scores won't look like the seniors scores.
These issues should have been raised a long time ago - I don't have time to re-look at all of these career mode balancing issues.
Actually the OD and T20 scores were fine back then but now even those scores are low , and I was specifically reffering to the fast sim not normal sim (and play mode sim) in other modes , so even the fast sim also take every delivery and physics in to account ?:O
Hmm then no need to waste your time on balancing it just increase the od and t20 scores by 25% and fc scores by 35% wkts fallen are good no need to change it.
Or you can some how enable variation slider in career so I will put the pitch to 1 all for all grounds so as to have realistic sim scores but then use the variation slider to have a slightly bowling friendly pitch when playing , i-e variation slider not effecting sim scores and only for play mode.
