2. Red Bull Premier League (one-off; August 2012-October 2012) - Following my success with the first few seasons of LAB, I managed to attract some of the then big name managers for this league. It proved to be a good learning curve for me as I was still a rookie when it came to rating players on cricsim and struggled to get accurate results. I had planned to run this on a yearly basis like the MCL, but it never really panned out due to life and other commitments. I now use it's thread to store up any league ideas I might think of, along with player lists, testing out stats bundles etc.

Waqar Younis (21 wickets at 18.52 from 10 matches)

3. Europa Cup (October 2012-March 2017; 4 seasons complete) - This was really Aislabie's idea, but he didn't quite have time on his hands to pull of something of this magnitude. I really enjoyed running the first season and learnt a great deal about associate cricket from managing this league. It had kinda hit a dead end after the conclusion of Season III, following which it took me more than 2 years to bring it back into action once again.

4. Elite League: Australia (February 2013-September 2016; 5 seasons complete*) - This league was originally started by @Aislabie, who wanted to run a season of it and then hand it over to an up and coming league manager. It was handed over to Prithvi originally (who never found time to run it), and then to me. I've been running it ever since and have seen some of the strongest teams in the Champions League (and the leagues section in general) emerge from this league such as West Coast Fever, who won the first two seasons largely unchallenged, completed a CL victory and later were crowned the Champion of Champions.

*The first season was managed by @Aislabie (July 2012-September 2012)

5. ICC Champions Trophy 2013 (June 2013-July 2013; one-off) - Probably my fastest 'proper' league till date (it took me only a month to finish :p. It was fun while it lasted.

6. Cricket World Cup Rewind (October 2013-December 2013; one-off) - One of my more creative league ideas. I had been wanting to run a league featuring World Cup oldies for quite some time.

Joel Garner (23 wickets at 16.48 from 10 matches)

7. PlanetCricket Ashes 2013/14 (November 2013-April 2014; one off) - This was started as a spur of the moment sort of thing, when I switched on the TV in the early morning to catch some of the action and noticed nobody else had started one. It turned out to be my most active league thread till date. Some of the banter between PC members was quite brilliant.

Start date: November 21, 2013
Finish date: April 15, 2014
Format: Test & ODI
Winner:
aus.gif
Australia (captained by @Samuels; Tests 3-2);

8. Champions League (January 2014-November 2016; 3 seasons completed) - I've run three fairly okayish seasons of this great league. To be completely honest, I've never really enjoyed running it as much as I thought I would have. More of a necessary evil of sorts.

Champions League XIII

9. Cricket at the 2014 Commonwealth Games (July 2014-October 2014; one-off) - Perhaps my best league featuring nations competing in an international sporting event. Finished it off with a huge stats bundle (it was huge by my standards at the time), but was quite annoyed by certain members towards the end of it.

10. 2015 Cricket World Cup (November 2014-March 2015; one-off) - A league that was supposed to be the crowning jewel of my managerial career ended in nothing but disappointment and tears. I lost my dad towards the finishing stages and underwent perhaps the toughest phase of my life. It took me nearly everything just to come back and finish this league about a week or two after the unfortunate event.

Start date: November 28, 2014
Finish date: March 7, 2015
Team count: 24
Format: One Day International (ODI; 50 overs per side)

11. Cricket at the Olympics (January 2015-December 2016; 8 seasons completed) - This league sorta helped me regain my league managing mojo following the loss of my father. It has since become my most favorite league to run and I've put more effort into running it than any other league of mine. It's currently on hold, but I do definitely plan on getting back to it when life allows.

18. 2019 Cricket World Cup (February 2017-August 2017; 2 qualifying tournaments completed) - This league was spurred on by my disappointment at the ICC for marginalising cricket's premier event to only 10 teams. Instead, I decided to give every country capable of putting up a lineup of 11 players an opportunity of qualifying as a mockery to the current rules. I'm off to a fairly good start, having completed 2 out of 6 qualifying tourneys with nearly 2 years to go until the official 2019 World Cup.

Note: Leagues currently in progress such as my PC Ashes 2017/18 & LAB IX were not included in the lists.

List of leagues left incomplete

1. Legends At Battle V (May 2013-June 2013) - I had planned to bring LAB back to the old and popular country based theme for Season V. It went well initially, but 4 rounds into the competition my old computer went kaboom along with all the stats files and databases for the league. Something like that would never affect me today, but back then I was just another simpleton dependent on the simulator for stats and that pretty much screwed me over. I resumed the incomplete season more than year later with a completely different theme and was successful in seeing it through on that occasion. I have always calculated statistics manually for all my leagues ever since.

2. Mercantile Mutual Premier League (November 2013-February 2014; abandoned) - Perhaps my biggest disappointment in the leagues section, and I don't have that many to show really. I had quite foolishly set it as a double round-robin with 18 rounds of matches. I could only manage 11 as life caught up and I couldn't summon the motivation to see it through afterwards.

Collaborative leagues

1. PCFTP (with @Aislabie & ?; December 2013-June 2014) - My first collab of any sort. It ended prematurely as we all found ourselves with more important things to do all of a sudden. I think there was a third simmer in charge too, but don't quite remember who it was.

2. United States of PlanetCricket (with @Aislabie & @Na Maloom Afraad; November 2014-January 2015) - This league idea certainly had great potential, but unfortunately clashed with the worst period of my life. I was forced to withdraw from my simulation duties not even halfway into the proposed Season I itinerary and the whole thing disintegrated afterwards. It was revived successfully for a short while by Na Maloom Afraad more than a year later.

3. PlanetCricket Premier League V (with @Aislabie, @User2010 & @CaptainCremer; August 2015-June 2016) - I was tasked with simulating the List-A matches for the season. It was all fun and games in the beginning, but as the league wore on it became one of my least happy memories of this site. Being under constant fire from members and staff alike didn't help, and neither did the disgusting allegations of 'PCPL corruption' by certain idiotic members. I honestly wish I had never bothered with this league, and I most probably never will again.

4. Cricket Dynasty (with @Aislabie; August 2015-February 2016) - The complete opposite of the PCPL in terms of memories for me. Myself and Aislabie had created something that for a while even challenged the then waning popularity of the PCPL among league participants. But real life eventually defeated us.

Note: I will keep adding bits and pieces to this profile whenever I can spare the time, such as the FC stats for players in my leagues, my own stats as a team manager, the all-time stats for team managers in my leagues etc etc. That's all for today.
