Well have given some feedback, hopefully more to come. Hopefully we will eventually we able to tweak alot of the ESMS programs to match ECMS. It's been running next to perfectly. Hopeful we can continue to test and I will make a report on the game next week sometime and my views if that's ok with dbest.

Its been like ages since I have been online on the forum. I have recently started working on the game again. I am migrating the code to C#, so once I complete the migration I will probably be at where I was with this game before I left it.
Just thought I should let you guys know about this. Once I have some progress, I shall let you guys know.
A quick update, the code to read all the required files has now been migrated. I have hardcoded the bowling logic for now and simulated the overs. The logic for the runs and the wickets needs to be ported. If I manage to get some free time over this week, I should have the game back to where it was by the end of this week.
A non-update actually. Didnt progress much with the conversion code. The logic for runs and wickets has now been converted, but I am not too pleased with the number of runs being scored. I believe its not perfect, but I will maintain it like it is for now. I will take a look at it once I have converted the remaining part of the code.
The items currently pending to be ported are:
1. New batsman coming in
2. The summary of the innings to be printed
3. Actual commentary
4. Logic for handling orders
.....
the list goes on.
The good thing is that I have done this before, but right now I need to stop being lazy and start working on it again. :onpc
Commentary file is now being read by the code. I need to incorporate it into the main program, which should take a lot of time. I think in about 7 more days, the game should have been completely ported.
I will then need a few guys to test the game and help me with the run scoring algorithm.
