Five teams fighting for three spots. All five teams have realistic chance of making into playoffs.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS P: 13, W: 8, L: 5, Points: 16

CSK are one win away from the playoffs and even if they don't win their last game (against and KXIP), they are still in the running to make the last four, depending on the outcome of other matches.

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS P: 12, W: 7, L: 4, NR: 1, P: 15

KKR can qualify if they win one of their two games against Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. If they win both, and CSK and RR lose, the defending champs could finish in the top two.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD P: 12, W: 7, L: 5, P: 14

If SRH beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in their next game, the latter could struggle to qualify. If they lose and if KKR overcome RR, their game against MI will become a virtual knockout. But for that to happen, MI have to beat the Knights on Thursday.

RAJASTHAN ROYALS P: 13, W: 6, L: 5, NR: 2, P: 14

RR's final league game against KKR is a must-win one for them. In case they lose, they must pray that SRH and MI lose their remaining games.

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE P: 11, W: 6, L: 4, NR: 1, P: 13

If RCB beat KXIP, then their next clash against Hyderabad will determine whether they make it to the play-offs. If they win that game too, they are through.


MUMBAI INDIANS P: 12, W: 6, L: 6, P: 12

To keep things simple, MI must win both their remaining games. In case they lose to KKR, they must pray that RCB win their remaining games. They must also hope that KKR beat RR. If that happens, their final league game against SRH could become a knockout, with some other scenarios regarding net runrate.

DELHI DAREDEVILS & KINGS XI PUNJAB

Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI have been eliminated from IPL 2015 and at best they could play spoilsport. Note: Scenario after Delhi Daredevils - Chennai Super Kings match.

With so many wickets in hands there's no way we should of lost by so many runs there. Just seems to be the way that we're always behind the RR and never look to meet it even if got a load of wickets remaining. Hopefully we'll qualify, disaster if not!

They've already qualified for the play-offs, and will play Qualifier 1. The last match should be a practice match for them.

SOUTHAMPTON SAMURAI
They need to win their last match against Atlético de Kolkata and hope that the match doesn't gets abandoned due to rain.

DURBAN DOLPHINS
They need to win their last match against Hyderabad Hurricanes and hope that rain abandons the match between Southampton Samurai and Atlético de Kolkata.

ATLÉTICO DE KOLKATA
They need to win their last match against Southampton Samurai and hope that the match doesn't gets abandoned due to rain.

MUMBAI INDIANS
They need to win their last match against Sydney Dynamo and they will qualify.

LAHORE LIONS
