Tigers travel to Durban after victory
The Hobart Tigers are today heading to Durban after a 41 run victory over the Chennai Lions
in Hobart. It was Shikhar Darwin who proved to be the match winner after scoring
91 in the victory.

The opening pair of Hashim Amla and Shikhar Darwin proved a massive stepping stone
in the victory after the pair scored 164. After Amla fell, the rest of the batsman played
a role with ten Doeschate smacking 36 from 23 balls to give the Tigers a score of 306
from their fifty overs.

Axel Patel then bowled 2-39 from the ten overs to give them their best bowling figures
of the match. Ryan ten Doeschate would also take two wickets with the big wicket of
Kevin Pietersen falling on 52. These wickets would be a cruical factor as Wriddhiman
Saha almost gave Chennai the victory from his own bat.

But it wasn't a perfect victory with Philander concedding a run rate of 6.14 from his
seven overs. Matthew commentaning saying "The team did abouslite brilliant and
everyone played a part in the 41 run victory. But their is some things that we will
need to fix for our next match against Durban."
