For the first time in the history of this league, Bradford Vipers/KKR have been knocked out in the league stages. Remember they reached finals of all three previous seasons.
Southampton Samurai again remained an unlucky team to miss out on a playoff berth by a very narrow margin. Remember they lost to Kochi by just 1 run in the league stages.
Bhubaneswar Strikers did their very best but lost out on the NRR.

Well our opening finally clicked in the last game Gayle and Hadllee easily the best players for us during this season,Dravid and Pietersen were good with the bat as well.Had a good season,feels good for not being the last one.

Our bowlers dissappointed us this time. 290 is a tough score to chase, it is always a good advantage for the home team. Ajantha Mendis bowled really well for which he is known for.

Our batting being too inconsistent these days failed once again. Raina and Ponting batted quite well while de Kock and Shane Watson failed once again. No runs from Gary this time. There will be some changes in lineup in the next match for sure.

Starting at no.1 position, we dropped to no.3 position in the points table. Our 1 st two wins followed by a loss and once again couple of wins got us good NRR. It is a magic number for Durban Dolphins (now Bengaluru Bulls) for the past 2 seasons. I hope we beat Kochi in playoffs and head to Semis.
