Cricket Quiz

I read this somewhere. A record that took forever to break. I forgot it, it is somewhere in Cricinfo.

Fastests hundred in terms of time? This guy equalled it on his debut. They said it was a record held for a long time. 77 minutes or something like that. The guy who equalled it committed suicide...

It doesn't look like that question is going anywhere. I will start you off again.

Which country does the player with the highest batting average in history come from?

what type of average? FC or test?

because im pretty certain bradman's australian
I'm talking test batting average. You are right in saying that Don Bradman was Australian, but what's he got to do with it? :D

is it highest average with no innings minimun? so someone who played say 1 innings, got out for 250, would be counted?

Now you're getting somewhere.

is he still playing now? if so, is he still a test player?
No, he played his last test in 1948. To make it easier, here's a hint: he scored 112 against England. That means there are now only 8 countries to choose from, as it can't be Australia or England.

Congratulations. Andy Ganteaume scored 112 for the West Indies against England in Port-of-Spain in February 1948 at the age of 27.
