Still nowhere near. You're about as far away from the answer as Pluto is from the Sun.
Looking at the big picture (the universe), Pluto and the Sun are extremely close to one another. Just a different perspective on things

How about this...
No left-handers in either team??? (Or conversely, no right-handers?)

You do realize we are just playing a game of "Guess whats on my mind??"

Well here and here are the two cards from the 4th and 5th test but I think this is a trick question.
If you look at the itinerary here the last two game weren't the 4th and 5th tests but instead the 5th test and a game against South African Universitys. I'm going to say it was unusual to play a match against a First Class side after the Test series (and effectively the tour) had ended.

Nope and nope. It isn't that unusual to play matches after the series has ended. It used to happen almost every year in England.

The schedule of the tour given on Cricket Archive is incomplete.... the final 2 games are missing :D

Ah, a clue.
Something to do with the first time South Africa had fielded non-white players. Were the last two games against non-white sides?

I already thought of my next question..

"Which cricketer am I thinking of?"

We'll wait for Andrew to answer his question before we begin this :)

Ok here's another guess. Some Australians turned out to play for the local teams?

I bet anyone who has a copy of the Wisden from 1958 (which Andrew probably owns) would have the answer in a minute.

Neither right. It's such a good question too. You won't find the answer in the 1958 Wisden, the tour would have been covered in the 1959 Wisden. I don't own that though.
