think the format of the current WC was perfect though the Scheduling was poor.

There should have been 2 Super 8 games everyday and just 1 day break between the League games and the Super 8?s, between Super 8?s and Semi Finals and between Semi Finals and Finals.

That would have meant only 31 days just perfect for such a Major Tournament. Also the crowd interest and intensity would have been maintained.

A good example is if there was a one sided Super 8 game, the crowd could always turn to the other one being played on the same day.

Also the league stage should have 24 teams with 4 groups of 6 each. Each team would have 5 matches then. This would shut the mouths of people up who say that their teams did not get enough games and did not qualify because of a one off result.

Easter was slap bang in the middle of the tournament, and West Indians refuse to play on Good Friday.

24 teams with 4 groups of 6 each will mean 15 matches per group.
That translates into 60 matches. And thats just the first round !
Do you have any idea of how boring the tournament will be ?
