there should be atleast 4 commentators preferrably richie benaud, ian chappel, david lloyd and michael holding in Cricket 2006..change of commentary every 10 overs..

Yep, that would be a pretty good concept satishmania.
With all EA Sport's money, I guess they could claim at least 8 commentators for FIFA 2006. ;)

Get to see the coach in the dressing room etc .... out side the stadioms veiws ... choose what channel is going to show the match .... that would be a real dream man ....

I agree with you there Usy. I think they are doing something like showing coaches in FIFA: RTWC on the Xbox 360.

Hopefully Cricket 2005 will be made on the XBox 360 with the same sorta technology.

Outside the stadium views would be cool, but I'm not sure about the TV-channels. Wouldn't EA need to buy television logo rights etc if they would like them in their game? (just like EA has to buy rights to the grounds, logos, teams, players etc)

That pic look more funny .. ea need to put there heads down ....

Actually, that does look like Sven! If Cricket 06 could be done on the Xbox 360, it would be fantastic.

Well FIFA RTWC has been reviewed by IGN, and they mention that it is a very good game regarding gameplay and graphics - but the fact that they have erased certain features and gaming modes is a letdown.
If Cricket 06 was to be released on the XBox 360, I would only buy it if it is better than Cricket 05 and still keeps it current game modes - and more.

yeah it is always bad that in the process of improving the graphics and gameplay most of the times the important features that make a game interesting are neglected or left out for future versions. Lets see what EA musters up in Cricket 06.

I think they should make more of the "Corridor of Uncertainity" with more edges and playing and misses. They also even put an editor into the game, like on PES.

Ive posted this in a few areas but this is wat is rong wid C2K5

Batting

1. The bowlers always bowl on the stumps.

2. It is too hard to pierce the in field.

3. The back foot leg glance is mine (and probably most ppls) only shot, it goes for 4 always.

4. The front foot leg glance sometimes misses a straight ball landing you an unstoppable LBW.

5. The LBW decisions are quite poor.

6. Theres a huge gap between bat and pad in the straight drive.

7. Backfoot shots shud b able to hit any length...its hard to explain

8. Shots shud vary depending on length like Brian Lara, however, this with the backfoot/frontfoot option would mean loads of shots and that you cant play a front foot leg glance to every ball.

9. Edges, in the game, happen when u play it too late, not when u play the wrong shot, like it should.

10. A defense shot controlled with the analogue stick?

11. The button for the sweep shud b a different shot against a pacer

Bowling

1. You cant see the bowlers run ups.

2. Pacers are very slow and do not rush any batsman.

3. Spin is good but the bounce is a bit too high.

4. Swing is not right, and outswinger seems to swing in and cut out. when it shud just swing out, ans same with the inswinger.

5. Cutters dont move at all.

6. Its slightly too easy to bowl a line and length.

Fielding

1. Misfields are quite poor, in that fielders never fumble the ball, and wen the miss it they try to throw it without a ball.

2. With a running diving catch, they stop b4 they dive.

3. Sometimes the ball floats in the air after hitting a fielder.

4. Silly points and short legs are wimps and look away from the only catches that they take in real life.

5. Sometimes fielders are too brilliant and fast.

Graphics

1. The asian faces are poor as are the west indian faces.

General

1. The game does not flow and is (A RHYME COMING UP) slow.

2. Theyre shud b no cut scenes for a usually fast paced 10 over match and many for a test match.

3. The umpires most of the time make the wrong signals.

4. The game is too hard.

5. No varing shots for varying batsman.

6. A day five pitch plays the same as a day one pitch.

I rekon this sums it up nicely

More demands from me...

1. Snickometer.
2. Hawkeye.
3. Better create a player.
4. More players being unique.
5. Heres an idea...keep the same commentary and then make more.
6. Make it on PS3.
7. Asian faces...plz.
8. Different shots for the same button press...5-10 for each button press.
9. No more dominant shots. First the sweep then the cut now the back foot legglance.

Highlights to include drops, chances, sixes, fours and wickets

More faces!

Ground shots should go further.

Varying shots depending on skill of batsman and length of delivery.

When you make a player you should rate execution of each shot.

Wide deliveries must be easy to hit.

When bowling the odd delivery must be random and most probably easy to hit.

Shots; Front foot;
Straight drive from BLIC
On drive from BLC 98
Leg glance from any EA cricket game
Sweep from any EA cricket game
Late cut from, i dont care.
Side slash from EA cricket 2005
Cover drive from EA cricket 2005

Back foot;
Straght drive from Cricket 2005 (but easier to time)
On drive from Cricket 2005 (but easier to time)
Leg Glance from Cricket 2005
Hooks from BLIC
Late cut from Cricket 2002
Off drive from Cricket 2005
Cut from Cricket 2004
Cover drive from Cricket 2002

The bowling in both cricket games are excellent.
Except; Yorkers are too easy to play.
Full tosses are to hard to play.

You could have cherries/red marks on the bat after hitting a big shot.
Cheeries on the bat, now that is a very good idea. And I don't it would take much effort putting it into a game either.

Going on what manee has posted, I think that EA Sports should take the good aspects from 'all' their games and bring them together. I have heard that a few members roaming around PlanetCricket are still playing Cricket 2000, '99, 2002 and the like.

We might have to bring these ideas forth to legend_master so in the end, we will have a dream game on our hands.
