Just started by Moi as I felt that Cricket related graphics is not yet at its prime as in other sports like football and basketball for which there are plenty of Art forums just for the sport.Hope that some of you would find it decent enough, although it needs some time I guess.Cheers.

Here's the link for now although Im trying to get something shorter for us to remember. :p

I'll join a little bit later Sid, and i'll contirubute some of my already existing sigs, as well as some new ones too.

It has become extremely quiet Sid! Nobody but me is posting!

I havent even had time to read the posts here at PlanetCricket,so you can expect me not to give much time to cricketgraphics.Ive been busy lately.

Ive had an idea on the forum which Id like to share. Why not have some different levels of graphics members and seperate sections for them.Every new member starts at a Level 1-Basic Graphic Designers and based on their qualities and some tests from the staff, people could be promoted to higher levels. Each level would have its own seperate discussion forum(hidden from other lower level members). We could also promote the graphics battles(idea by usy in the sig's thread) in a similar fashion with winners getting better chances of going to higher graphics levels.

Just wanted to know what you all think about this,I'll try implemeting the same if I get enough positive responses on this.Cheers.

I'll be brutally honest. I think thats a terrible idea.
Members should be able to judge for themselves there abilities. If I went to a graphics site as a new member and found all the top tips were hidden from me and I had to work my way up through some kind of reward system I wouldn't stick around, I'd go straight to another site where I could find the answer I needed.
By all means seperate tips and competitions into something like a Beginners forum, and Intermediate forum and an Expert forum but dont hide them. You should remember that there will be people at the site (as well as new users) who actually are better than your "experts" or at least as good, its just they dont spend hours making things for the site.
If you implement a system like that you're just putting a big bottleneck on getting members.

I think that's a great idea Sid and i'd be happy to see it implemented in the site.
