Crossover Cricket League: Overall Tournament Stats up at post #223 | Chiefs crowned CCL champions

C.O. Player #14
Willie le Roux

WilleLeRoux_zpsxz6odgmz.jpg

Role: Bowling-:ar: (RHB, ROS)
Willie le Roux, who plays as a fullback or wing for Springbok rugby team, showed a glimpse of his ability to bowl spin when he picked up three wickets in just two overs against the Proteas in a friendly match.

Roux has a hand-eye coordination level that would also make him an ultimate fielder in cricket.

Right then, I'm calling dibs on Gabriel and Ospina to open the bowling.

C.O. Player #15
Rory McIlroy

RoryMcIlroy_zpseqwuld39.jpg

Role: :ar: (RHB, ROS)
Four-time major champion Rory McIlroy has a sweet shot off the tee and is in the top ten for average driving distance on the PGA Tour. The power he generates would make him an ideal presence at the crease in cricket, where he'd likely excel at launching any full-length deliveries straight back down the ground, over the bowler's head and the boundary rope.

C.O. Player #16
Damian de Allende

DamianDeAllende_zps030ys6rd.jpg

Role: :ar: (RHB, RMF)
Springboks' Damian de Allende was an excellent high-school cricketer and also earned selection for Western Province U18. De Allende opened the bowling for WP U18 and took four wickets for 30-odd in a recreational match against Boland, while his best figures were 5-4 in a Twenty20 match.

He also started to work on his batting when selected for the 1st XI and made a couple of fifties.

C.O. Player #17
José Reyes

JoseReyes_zpsicjt2rjg.jpg

Role: :bat: (LHB, DNB)
Dominican shortstop José Reyes bats in a manner suited for cricket. He has a variety of swings and techniques as a switch-hitter, from the drag bunt to a line drive, that would allow him to hit the ball in a 360-degree space. And with his amazing speed, it'd be difficult to track him between the wickets. He's also got a cannon of an arm that would scare any cricketer from trying to squeak in another run.

C.O. Player #18
Novak Djokovic

NovakDjokovic_zpsoljap0yo.jpg

Role: :bat: (RHB, DNB)
In a sport where he is routinely tasked with returning 130 mph serves, contending with a 90 mph delivery off the bounce on a cricket pitch is nothing the eleven-time Grand Slam tennis singles champion Novak Djokovic can't handle. His footwork on the shot demonstrates the effectiveness he would have at punching drives off both his front and back feet with a cricket bat in his hand, not to mention an effective cut shot.

As if you've excluded Danny Cipriani, who turned down a Surrey contract as a batsman? Or Liam Botham, who played for Hampshire, then switched to Rugby Union, then became a Super League star instead?

Yeah, I might've missed out on a number of big names despite of all the digging I did.

I reckon we can work out a list for Season 3 some time? :p

@Aggz kindly give us an indication on what the Expert Players Base Auction Prices will be like. Personally I don't want to blow our budget now in the beginning stage of the Auctions.

As I said earlier, the Expert Players will be picked through draft system not auction. The drafts, however, will be ordered with team left with maximum purse getting the first pick and so on.
