Let us now remember that great day when Darryl Hair had the guts to stand up to the ICCD (International Cricket Council of Di**heads) and no-ball Murali for throwing it. No umpire has had the balls to do it since and I feel that Darryl Hair deserves to be knighted for his services to Cricket. He was the umpire with enough courage to no-ball Murali. It seems very much like Arpartied in that as soon as you show one sign of being different the people in charge pounce on you. Ie. In the movie "Cry Freedom", a movie based in Arpatied South Africa the journalist Donald Woods began supporting the Black movement. His career was ruined and he was forced to leave the country.

Darryl Hair had the courage to do what he believed was right. He was sacked from international cricket and now struggles to umpire a game in Australia. Why? Because he did what was right and no balled a chucker. Let us hope that there are more umpires like Darryl Hair that no-ball Murali and other chuckers around the world.

dude u r awfully late on the news...Murali didnt chuck then and he doesnt chuck now...Darrel Hare's hair got in his eyes and he couldn't see what was happening thats why he called him - fair enough he had the right to...and Ranatunga also had the right to lead his team away against the no-balling...

u r late on news coz ICC have allowed 15 degree of straightening for every bowler...and Murali's is 10 degrees so he doesnt fall in that chucking cabinet any more than the great Lilee, Hadlee and Imran...it was a case of ppl not being able to understand what the wizard is doing and they condemned it - slightly similar to medieval ages in the history...

btw I thought Hare was back on the ICC panel of umpires...

Are you still stuck in the 1990's. They proved Darryl Hair was wrong 2 times. And again for the comments he made reagrds to Murali's Doosra's.... well he was wrong again. I actually feels sorry for him.

Its Apartheid by the way, mate. And I do not understand your analogy. Apart from that let us hope umpires like Darryl Hair stand up and call chuckers for what they are. Okay, here we go: Akhtar, Lee, McGrath, Muralitharan,......everyone but Sarwan. I'm glad we have great bowlers like Ramnaresh Sarwan in the game. We should get rid of all the rest of them and make sure Sarwan is the role model for everyone around the world. That will definitely make cricket much more interesting.
