DBC 17 Batting post Patch 3

That would be the first time I've heard of such a thing... normally my batsman watches standing still while the ball slowly bounces a couple of times before rolling on to the stumps.

IMO it seems more of an accident than being intentional... looks like the batsman is shuffling after playing the shot and accidentally hit the ball with his foot. But yeah would love to have the ability to kick the ball away as it's slowly rolling/bouncing towards the stumps.

Proper Test Cricket!
That zip off the pitch in that pace is just so beautiful, feels like the bowler is in good flow..Noticeable on hard pitches in career and stamina once rectified should make that zip to last for a longer period..Amazing stuff..

So after Re downloading a few more teams I'm in a situation where the rest of the gameplay is ok but now the AI just use 3 bowlers.

Bizarre.

Send the files to Matt. And then download more teams so the batting experience deteriorates and send those files as well. But yeah the relation between logos/downloaded content and the AI and batting experience is the weirdest thing I've heard of.

IMO it would be better to go the DBC 14 way and allow limited customizations (players & kits only) instead of all the other stuff which leads to a stuffed up AI. At the end of the day gameplay is the king and I wouldn't want it to be compromised and if some customizations need to be sacrificed to ensure gameplay remains as it should be, so be it.

My new settings for batting(pro cam 0 HUD) modifiers

Shot timing 5
Foot work 25
Ball quality influence 99
Shot choice 5

Short power 27
......

The above allows me to play very late and basically play on the merit of the ball.
By playing late it's easier to select footwork.
Idea is for 0 premeditated shots.

Reduced shot power helps to counter the wide range for timing.

99 for ball quality brings wkts on very good balls.

So much possibilities with these modifiers

Sorry if this has been covered, but is there a comprehensive list somewhere of the exact effect of each slider? Like for example does higher ball quality influence mean only better balls take wickets or better balls are a higher percentage chance of taking wickets?
