Story Delhi Daredevils journey in DLF IPL 3,Match 31

Yes,There was a new auction for DLF IPL 3 and now all teams have new players except 1 or 2 players.

Sorry guys for no update was away for 2,3 days because of some personal reasons but i'm back now and some updates to come today.

Ideal start for Delhi Daredevils in DLF IPL Season 3!

Chris Gayle makes his walk back to pavilion after his sensational 95 off 55 balls.​

The much anticipated match of Delhi Daredevils vs Kings XI Punjab finally was all set to start off but first it was time for toss. Both the captains with Ravi Shastri met at the toss and Gayle won the toss. He said that the pitch looks to me as a damn good batting track when Ravi Shastri asked him that what is the approximate total they are looking for at this pitch Gayle replied i guess 180 to 190 will be a good total here. Crowd after hearing this said woooooo! They obviously got a hint that its a great pitch to bat on. :happy :banana2​

Delhi Daredevils opener Chris Gayle and Gautam Gambhir then came to bat. From ball 1 Chris Gayle and Gautam Gambhir started smashing the bowlers all around the park. :banana2 Gambhir first understood the pitch and at the moment when he felt that its a flat track and an ideal one to bat on he started playing much more aggressively then Chris Gayle. Gayle knew that he is the player who should remain not out till the end and make sure his team wins. Yuvraj Singh,Captain of Kings XI Punjab team was getting absolute clueless after seeing sensational batting from Gambhir and Gayle. Soon Gambhir and Gayle both reached their well made fifties.​

After his fifty,Gambhir,Started off playing grounded stroke so that he can make sure that he don't give catch to any fielder but in an over of Aamer he was out. Aamer bowled a slow delivery and Gambhir on front foot tried to smash it on straight but he was beaten by the pace and was having two plans in his mind either go for a big short or give a single and that confused him and he played it very slowly and Aamer took a great caught and bowl. ​

Next batsmen was Pietersen he was not at all looking at his best and then Yuvraj thought lets give ball to Rajat Bhatia and see does he get any swing or not. He didn't got any swing,Bhatia but then also managed to take wicket of Pietersen. He bowled the ball bit short but unfortunately it kept low and Pietersen was clean bowled. For a moment Pietersen was shocked seeing such kind of a ball on a flat track but he couldn't do anything against his dismissal and unfortunately made him walk back to pavilion for just 7 off 15.​

Next batsmen was none other than Virender Sehwag. :happy :banana2 With just few overs left before the end of Delhi Daredevils innings Chris Gayle decided to play some big strokes i mean very big strokes. Chris Gayle suddenly realized that he is getting closer to his century. 15th over was ending and it was last ball of the over Chris Gayle pushed the ball on leg side and there was a fielder there Chris Gayle said run but Sehwag said no no. Sehwag was right but then also don't know why Gayle wanted to remain and strike and ran but Sehwag didn't ran and unfortunately Gayle got out. He knew that it was his mistake but after all he wanted the strike to get to his century but in the end a sensational innings from Gayle. ​

After Gayle dismissal next batsmen was Eoin Morgan and he with Sehwag smashed some big strokes and made sure that they make a big score on a flat batting track. In the end the final score of Delhi Daredevils was 212-3. :happy People in the crowd were very very sad because they wanted their team to win and chasing 212 is not at all easy. After the end of Delhi innings Gayle had a chat with Archana Vijaya and he was very happy with his innings. He said that once you get settled at the crease its quite easy to make runs but its all about getting settled at the crease. He also said that the team is very much happy with the total and thinks that they can win the game. ​

Then it was time for Kings XI Punjab openers to come at the crease and bat. They suffered two very early blows of Hayden and Pomersbach... :happy But then the captain of Kings XI Punjab made sure that he plays at his very best and make as much runs for his teams as he can and doesn't give his wicket away. McCullum and Yuvraj Singh were building a very good partnership. McCullum was taking singles as well as he was hitting bad balls away for boundaries. On other hand Yuvraj Singh was not at all in pressure he was playing his normal game and was not even had any plan of taking singles and not hitting boundaries.​

Gayle new captain of Delhi Daredevils knew that these two are very dangerous batsmen and he needs to get out any one of these out. He brought none other than Flintoff into the attack and he gave his captain wicket of Brendon McCullum. Gayle decided to have a slip and said Flintoff to bowl a short delivery. Flintoff did that and McCullum got a top edge and the ball went straight to Sehwah at the slips. It was a high catch but Sehwag did well to take the catch. ​

After McCullum wicket there was no one who managed to play big strokes and win the match for their team except Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj Singh tried his very best to win the match for his team but in the end he was getting single and had no support from Styris who was at other end. Yuvraj played some very very big strokes Kings XI Punjab were getting close but then also they needed two or three very good overs and that didn't happen what happen was another batsmen Yuvraj missed a century. Even he was run out by Eoin Morgan and in the end Delhi Daredevils won by 33 runs. :happy :banana2​

Well great batting by Chris Gayle there and good win for Delhi. Why 9 overseas players in IPL?? The main motive of IPl should be Indian Players and there are only 2 in a team.

Yeah I must say huge writing there. KIU . Hopefully you can complete the whole story and win the IPL for Delhi.

Basically what i thought was give international players a chance and advertise IPL in all countries because having just 4 foreign players in each side seems that IPL is just made for Indian players and there is no need of foreign players i also though of changing the format completely and came up with few ideas. I know some will be liked by people and some will be not but in the end if all enjoy reading the story its good for me. I'm sure that i will complete this story.

RCB start well in DLF IPL 3!​

RCB suffered two early blows of Smith and Warner but then Imran Farhat and Aaron Redmond did well to control the innings and think of a big total. When it was nearing to end of RCB innings they both were out but then Jaffer and Sharma did very well to help their team to reach to a big score. KKR batting was very poor. No one except Shane Warne manage to stay at the crease and win the match for the team. It was a very bad performance from them but on other hand Morkel and Muralitharan bowled very well and won the match for RCB.

Easy win for CSK!

Sudeep Tyagi celebrates wicket of Ricky Ponting.​

Deccan Chargers batting looked to be quite week in this match. Adam Gilchrist got a start but didn't manage to convert it into a big score. Ricky Ponting was bowled for just 0 by Sudeep Tyagi and then the middle order collapsed except Justin Langer. Justin Langer did very well to make sure his team makes a respective total if not a big score.​

Chennai Super Kings had no problems in chasing the total which Deccan Chargers made. Imran Nazir made sure that he stays at the crease till the end and win the match for his team. There was a small clash between Imran Nazir and Luke Wright in the 13th over and the news is that maybe Imran Nazir can receive one match ban for that.
