RCB's first innings lead makes the trophy go above them

Well, the most excited IPL FCC comes to an end. Winning two games they played, the Deccan Chargers were named as the first team. The game took place in front of minimum 20,000 people. Each and every day, there were atleast 20,000 people present witnessing the match.
All the players of two teams were made to wear Blue Caps with BCCI logo on the final day as it was BCCI formation Day.
According to the reports, it was Anil Kumble, who won the toss RCB decided to bat first.
Robin Uthappa continued his flop show in First class cricket even in the all anticipated final. That wicket made Deccan took the pendulum bit towards themselves but Virat Kohli, along with the Great Indian Wall, Rahul Dravid, pulled the pendulum at their best by scoring 87 and 70 respectively. Kevin Pietersen, who achieved complete control over the Deccan Bolwers, missed his century by falling 8 less to his century to Andrew Symonds. The umpire hesitated to give that out but Pietersen himself walked to pavilion as he knew that his bat din't nick the ball before it hit his left pad.
Ross Taylor played an handy innings of 24 along with Jacques Kallis.Kallis fell for 35, Goswami tried his best but his luck din't favor him. The Ball hit the stumps with no force but yet, the stump managed to get disturbed, to make Goswami walk.
Praveen Kumar fell for a duck, but Dale Steyn repeated his feat, what he did in MCG in summer of 2008-09. He came up with unexpected 63 with his name. Kumble fell for 4 and Vinay Kumar remained unbeaten at 8, with Steyn giving a easy catch to Harmeet Singh Bansal. Harmeet Singh and Pragyan Ojha picked 3, Symonds and took 2, RP Singh and Venugopal Rao picked 1 each.

In reply to RCB's massive total of The Deccan Chargers started off well. Gibbs and Suman played some classic boundaries. Gibbs kept the run rate going on and in due corse, he fell to Kallis. And soon, the strong contender of Man of the Series VVS Laxman, who played some crucial innings' played a handy innings of 27. Venugopal Rao fell for 4.Symonds fell for 12, Gilly fell for 4. That middle order collapse resulted DC a match.Arjun Yadav, RP Singh and Fidel Edwards tried to rescue the innings but only RP Singh was successful. Pragyan Ojha, along with Harmeet Singh played some boundaries to ensure that DC at least crosses 300 run mark. They lasted for some 13 overs but Ojha din't got proper strike, to hit the balls. Finally, Ojha fell in Kallis' Trap. Dale Steyn picked 3, Kumble, Kallis and Praveen picked 2 each.Vinay Kumar picked one.
With a lead of 113 RCB scored 241 runs in their second innings. Uthappa came up with handy 24, supported Kohli to score 35. Rahul Dravid showed his class once again, scoring a century. With him, Pietersen scored 45 and Ross Taylor scored 14 off 76 balls. When Dravid came up to his century, his co mate Anil Kumble declared the innings for 241 runs. Harmeet Singh, RP Singh and Pragyan Ojha picked 1 wicket each.

Chasing 355 with maximum of 4 hours of play possible in the match, Deccan Chargers almost lost the match.
Gibbs fell to his national team mate Steyn early and Suman fell to Praveen Kumar early. Laxman and Venugopal Rao try to rescue but Venugopal tried his best and saw the taste of Kumble's Temperment in test cricket while bowling. Immediatly, Symonds got out for a diamond duck. Gilly tried defending 10 balls but he even fell for no score to Vinay. Arjun Yadav even fell for duck. Three ducks in a row made RCB's winning dream come true but RP Singh and Laxman defended the balls carefully and took the game to a draw.
Royal Challengers Bangalore were named the Champions as they had a lead after the first innings of both the teams ended.

VVS Laxman, who was named the Man of the tournament as he scored most numbers of runs (425) and he had two centuries with his name with a highest of 147 averaging 106.25 quoted

Well, the first innings lead was crucial. Even though we drew with RCB, we needed first innings lead, which would have won us the tournament. I personally had a great tournament here. Hopefully if we could defend the title of IPLT20 champions in the tournament upcoming, it'd be great. Its a great idea as many domestic players had great experience with the international players in FC form of the game, which is very difficult to happen.

Winning skipper Anil Kumble quoted

Well, its a small type of revenge against the Chargers as we lost to 'em in previous editions' IPL T20 final and its good to see both the finalists of IPLT20 here even in IPLFCC. And yeah, I agree with VVS, its a great opportunity to youngsters and domestic players, playing with international players in this form of cricket is impossible, which has now become possible.
