News From West Indies

An amazing incident happened in the Red Stripe Bowl match between Trinidad and the Windward Islands yesterday.

As Fernix Thomas of the Windwards was bowling to Mervyn Dillon of Trinidad, a bolt of lightning came out of the sky and struck both players. Both players were later taken to hospital but recovered and were laughing about it later.

a real bolt of lighting!!!!....probaly because somebody was useing a metal bat... <_< ...no but probaly the metal on the helmet may have attracted thelighting bolt...it is good that they r both safe...moreover canada has lost two games..do u know their next game it doesnt say anywhere

Canada have lost 3 matches, but they ran Jamaica pretty close.

They are fielding a weakened team, though, as John Davison is busy in Australia and Ian Billcliffe is busy in New Zealand.

They've got one more match today against the Leeward Islands.
