I never thought a humble cricket game would be home to any kind of interesting easter eggs, but apparently it is.

I was playing just now and heard a message over the ground PA saying someone was looking for a missing child named Jason Mars. It amused me :)

(For those who don't know Jason Mars is the missing kid in the game Heavy Rain)

Anyone find/notice anything else interesting/amusing?

I've heard the PA announcer saying something about unruly behaviour will see patrons ejected from the ground

I changed the default on-disc team names pretty quickly with "Get Best" but a swift $5 says buried somewhere in one of the teams I bet there is a F.M.Fegan...

When I created a game format that starts at 2am, the commentator at the coin toss says, something like "what a ridiculous time to start a match, whose bright idea was this!?".

Also, not sure if it says it in the controls section of the booklet, but when you're batting, before the bowler bowls the ball (i've only done this in two player so not sure if you would have time to do it in first player) pressing B A or X makes the batsman point with his bat into the crowd like a baseball player before the pitch.

Lol,class.

Saw a ball go for six, bounce off a fence in the air and the fielder tracked the ball the whole way, and caught it.

Hit a ball for four that deflected of the square leg umps toe as he tried to get out the way.

The in-game scoreboard replicates the match situation, even down to highlighting the batsman on strike.

Would love to see an Adelaide Oval type scoreboard one day

There's only one F. Ross... and boy did he give it a good go this year :)

Chicken Chicken Chicken is bloody everywhere (I didn't do it!)

Luckily, fixed in patch 2:

At first I couldn't clearly hear what was said, until I turned off commentary and up my volume, especially in career mode where I want to experience being on the field

100% this. i know it's been said many times but the sounds in this game are beautiful. the PA announcements being "live" is a wonderful idea, and the inappropriate behaviour / patrons missing etc. is also a great touch.

something else i noticed a few times yesterday, was playing v Middlesex at "Melbourne"... it's a big ground with boundaries right on the edge. Played a couple of sweetly timed shots that flew to the ropes for four, jumped off the rope into the advertising hoardings... the "thud" as it hit the boards was amazing, such a wonderful detail and so satisfying to hear from my shot!

got a 50 in that innings, matched my highest FC score of 61 then edged behind... gutted.
