Don Bradman Cricket 14 Easter Eggs

Just found an Easter egg that surpasses everything I've seen in a cricket game. Something that I've always thought was beyond the ability of a developer to implement properly. 2 overs to go in the day, on day two of a test match AUS v SA. South Africa at 2/120 lose a wicket and in walks Vernon Philander as nightwatchman!!!

Spoke to soon - the AI definitely did send in a nightwatchman (has happened a couple of times now toward the end of the day), which is great to see, but its buggy. For example, they will send #9 in at the fall of a wicket with a couple of overs to go in the day, but at the fall of a wicket he next morning things go weird. They then might send in #8 , then #10 , then #11 , then back to the next recognised batsman who was due in the first place (eg: #4 ).

At least they tried! :)

Not sure if you'd call it an easter egg or not, but I swear some of the buildings in the distance of Adelaide Gardens are from Perth? 99% sure it's the Bankwest tower?

Yep, that's the Perth skyline, and behind the stadium you can see the Swan River. There is also a replica of the Prindeville Stand at the ground, except its not at the Northern End. And there is also an extended version of the Lillee - Marsh stand on the other side. Take away the Prindiville stand at the northern end and whats left is replicated at the ground too.

Adelaide Gardens definitely is more WACA than the Adelaide Oval IMO. In fact, in my career mode Ive changed South Australia's home ground to Lancashire Oval - the two stands on the sides and oval shape of the ground give it more of an Adelaide Oval feel I think.

Or you used 'Get Best'.

There's only one F. Ross... and boy did he give it a good go this year :)

Chicken Chicken Chicken is bloody everywhere (I didn't do it!)

just reminded me - my wife's first comments after I showed her DB14 were 'what's with the chickens?' My response was 'really? All you got from that was the chicken boards in the background??' Lol....it's amazing what people see.

The best sound is the involuntary noise I make when there's a play and miss.

Your right, i do this every time, followed by a pep talk to myself and then usually followed by my wife telling me how very sad i am

she doesnt understand!!!
