It was only my second game and I'm still buzzing about it. My heart was literally pumping like it was a real game, there wasn't an option to select batsman or bowlers for the Super Overs, that I saw... Issy and I just started walking out, but I was at that point mashing X to get to the gameplay as soon as possible, so I may have missed a menu-prompt.

Started a Test match and the AI has completely different reactions to things and is vastly less aggressive when batting, so that's a good sign. Still seeing a few too many reverse-sweeps, but certainly in career mode when you're batting with your "AI Partner" depending on their score and the match-situation, it's incredibly realistic.

Commentary is great too, genuinely surprised at that. It's made me smile a few times (especially when there's a collapse)

Apparently that's the "go to" shot against bad bowling, so whenever anyone complains about reverse sweeps we know they're a rubbish bowler ;)

Played a few short matches: T10 and F5 recently, didn't see even a single reverse sweep by the AI..

And my fast bowling sucks at Pro.
 
Thanks for the chocolate overdose @imhassan. I think I'm blind now, but what I remember of the cake, it was awesome!!

The wait is only gonna get harder for me. And once the patch arrives, this is gonna be an even better game.
 
Just played my first match, jumped straight into career as a batting all rounder. Man batting is something else, really have to fight for every run, got less than 10 for around 30 balls each time. Bowling was great, as a leggy was able to make sense of the controls straight away, trapped a guy in front trying to sweep felt really good. Didn't see a reverse sweep all game.
 
@MattW How long before you officially review it?
Also remember Ross telling us that injuries and form are part of career mode. Did you see any injuries yet?
Also how is shinning the ball working for reversing the ball? Any luck?
 
I'm yet to see anyone bowl a beamer. @Ross had hinted there might be one in their forthcoming official videos :mad but now that the game is out, I'm surprised no one has tried it out yet.
 
So I got my game yesterday played it for 2-3 hours before it was late to keep on playing and ignore everything else. To say the least it was difficult to leave PS3 and go to bed at 12:30 when you know you have to be at work in the morning.

many thanks to whole dev team at bigantstudios great work and to my relief it is far from easy and will have a lot of after life and we will keep on playing it for some time (before DB15 comes out).

I will do a detailed impression of what I like and what I think should be improved but to start with only thing that annoyed me at times is super human fielding and throwing should tone it down but these are tiny things.

Great work yet again guys I am sure this will be a huge success. :cheers:cheers:cheers

Barmy will do the official review for the site.

I'll have a personal review at some point in the next few weeks, but I want a lot of time with all the modes first.

Or maybe pester Ross to get you a review copy by convincing it would be in their own interest. A review in June would be too late
