So, you are basing all these so called facts from two generic emails of people in a customer support area who have in no way any connection to those who are the ones that actually make the decision.

Furthermore, do you really think they would just email you confidential details if they had them?

The people in the customer support area that you emailed would be the last people to find out.

So two different companies have two different dates on their systems and give two different answers when you email.

A previous post noted that, Takealot were listing the 14th March as their original date - so obviously that not being the actual date triggers a 'delayed' email - because they had tried to specify a date before one was available and got it wrong.

So I got an email from amazon, concerning the Retron 5 that I ordered (These things are gonna be cool, 5 or so old systems in one, has an android OS for saving games, hacks, etc, and it uses your old cartriges) around november/december last year, saying that it will be in my hands in January. I know it's coming soon, due to what the blokes that are making it are saying. EH, whatever this isn't making much sense but my point is emails from anyone else other than the Publishers/Developers don't mean ****

I am also eagerly anticipating the release just like anybody else, I have my pre-order in just like anybody else. I got some info that pertains to when we might get it and I shared that info. So again if you don't like what I have to say don't read it.

I'm not doing anything DBC14 related really, I'm very focussed on our next release.

As said, game's approved and has been in physical production for a while (maybe even finished production). Tru Blu will be doing everything they can to get it into distributors/retailers hands at the earliest opportunity. They will let us know the exact date when they have one.

Nobody is arguing the point that Tru Blu is in discussion with people all over the world. But what makes you think that they would tell you anything?

You'll get the release date from Tru Blu. You'll hear any news from Tru Blu, or potentially Big Ant. Asking retailers for estimated dates, as has been proven in the past, is a complete and utter waste of time.

If I got an email from EB tommorrow saying my game was coming late April I would probably post on here as well. He has been told that we will only know the release date when Tru Blu says so maybe leave him alone now.

As discussed earlier, retailers have not been told when to expect stock, they are guessing.

I would have thought all of the June emails from retailers regarding Ashes 2013 would have educated people as to how reliable their dates are, there was one I believe that said Ashes 2013 had been dispatched, there are some that say it is still coming.
