God. Big Ant have only just gone public with their marketing. What Ross has been doing on here for us is just a bonus. It doesn't constitute the start of their marketing campaign.
If you can't see that most of the general public don't know about the game (as seen by confusion with AC13) then you are missing the point entirely. If we represented the entire cricket gaming population Ross would have no problem releasing now. The marketing campaign is only just beginning. It makes no difference to the general public if the game is delayed, because they don't know about the game!

The general public knows a cricket game was just released, so bad it had to be pulled from sale. Ergo, any cricket game on sale now cannot be that game... I would think even sweatpant-wearing, fanta-drinking, cousin-'appreciating' Joe Public can work that out.
The idea that cricket games will get a better reputation without a good cricket game releasing in the meantime by some kind of osmosis is baffling.
I have given lots of predictions, very hit and miss in terms of success rate, and I am sure nobody wants another, but hey, here's another one...
I think it's coming this year. Ross may think I called him a liar the other day (I didn't) but he is a straight up guy. I think for the game to release this year the call would have to have been made by now, and I don't think he'd have left his sig with "this year" if that had changed.
