It must annoy Big Ant that they spent time and effort on the Academy and the sharing system, and still we get "reel names plox" posts by people who either haven't bought the game or who ask questions before looking through the menus

There are advantages of licences mind: but that's more the additonal game modes that you do (think Cricket 07's Ashes thing - probably the only good part of that game) and if done well the marketing value, although the fact that every cricket series with a significant licence has died put suggests that for Cricket games the latter isn't any more valuable than the cost of production

Oh I'm sure the care about the piracy, I meant more about they don't care about the "reel nms plz" because that's a vindication of how they've set things up to make buying worthwhile.

If 2 yrs post release you're still at the "reel nms plz" stage you wouldn't be buying the game even if it came with a date with Megan Fox.
