^ I had thought the same.

Anyway, it's a blessing in disguise for me. Gives me more time to save for a better graphics card. I would have caved in and bought an entry level card if it were December.

Yeah should cope up saying something positive in mind though it isnt happy..But yeah hope I also get a GPU by that time to play the game at best graphical setting..

Nah. I'm content. It would have been disappointing if the release was console only.

Was saying that to myself :D

Its all good..Like I said before live streams should make the wait easy..

Any reason behind the PC delay? Thought that it wouldnt be so this time with online login to game made compulsory from the start..

I think it makes sense financially, when Ross already mentioned that 90% of the sales are though Consoles Only. They would like people who have both PC & Consoles to buy it on consoles may be. But yes greatful that there is indeed a PC release even though delayed.

As expected, it is 22nd December. And delay in PC version release seems a good move for me. It would help the distributors reach out to console users first and get an exact estimation of sale for a month on console and can sort out any bug/crash/fixes before moving onto pc troubleshooting. There were many issues in the past iteration when it was released and hopefully there will be less this time around.

PC(steam) version is what I'm looking for. Unless I get a required rig to run the game, I won't be buying it till then. I think my graphic card will support the game. But issue is with the RAM and OS. Will be soon building a new pc or will upgrade few parts of current pc and get the things going.

Somewhere it was written that there will not be any retail copy (hard copy) for PC. Not sure how true it is. But hoping to see more from this and thanks to BigAnt for their dedication & passion for developing a game as required by the users.

Im glad that there is a PC version at all when big players are ditching the platform left right or delay for years.

Delayed PC release always helps, as good as the online DRM has been, it wouldnt be wise to risk a zero day crack and have a copy floating around affecting console sales.

Also its best to get a polished version with one or two patches in if needed when the PC version comes out.

Its great to see BA still supporting PC despite it not being the bread winner.

Reading the previous posts seems like a logical decision taken for the release...Thanks for clarifying..

The grass seems great (the people complaining should come and see. )

Regarding the delay in PC release, it's a blessing fur me as well. I've around 12k for the GPu currently, will get round to 15k till the end of Jan.

Great work BA nonetheless.

Its funny reading thanking BA for releasing PC version when all the build up of academy, stadiums etc is on PC :facepalm

To be fair they were built on the playable demo that only steam users had access to.

I can understand your disappointment but this is the necessary compromise to have a PC release at all it seems. A compromise mitigated by the release of a free, PC-only demo might I add.

I've made a fair few stadiums and a one month delay isn't going to stop me doing so.

That is obvious. The thanks are our way of saying how much we appreciate it.

Wow... look at all these Planet Cricket users being positive and understanding about the later release for the PC version. haha
