Naimur Rahman
An all-rounder who had talent but could never make it big.
His test career wasn't a great one except him getting a six wicket haul against India. In ODIs though, he was bad. In 29 matches, he scored 488 runs at 19.52 (HS 47) with S/R of 63.29. This is not that bad but considering he was a bowling all-rounder (for me, I would say he was a bowler who could bat), his bowling stats really disappoint. In the 24 innings he bowled, he took 10 wickets at 90.4 with best figures of 2/51. Though his domestic stats are really good which showed he could have done much better in his short international career.
He captained Bangladesh in 4 ODIs, in which they lost as expected. 3 against Zimbabwe and 1 against England. He is a potential captaincy candidate for now.
Even though he has batted from positions 2 to 9, he played most of the times at no.6. That's where he will be in the team, unless I find someone else.

The idea of the draft is to pick your players in their real-life roles; given that neither of these players was ever selected as a specialist batsman (both played all of their matches as designated wicket-keepers) then they can only be picked as specialist wicket-keepers.
I'm afraid that the dreadful David Williams will have to go.

- Ankola made his debut vs Pakistan in the same series of 1989 in which Tenfulkar made his debut.
- Burst onto the scenes after picking a hattrick on debut in the Ranjii Trophy and six for in the Next game and immediately drafted into the national side for the Pakistan tour in 1989.
- Injuries and Poor fielding didn't help Ankola's case as he even remodelled his action.

Honestly, at no point was Abul the Bangladeshi I expected to pick. There are so many mediocre ones who were given so many chances in the ODI team, but I decided I could make up those caps later with some bang-average Bermudian or something, because Abul Hasan is one of the worst players in ODI history and deserves recognition as such.
He is best known for being the guy who was picked in the Test side to open the bowling, came in at number ten and lashed a hundred against some very misguided West Indian bowling (it was the era when Darren Sammy was their pace spearhead). Indeed, his Test batting average is still over 80, because his primary skill (bowling) was never good enough for him to keep his place for very long. "How bad?" I hear you ask. Well, his Test bowling average was 123.66. That's pretty bad.
What's worse is his ODI bowling average. He doesn't have one. In seven ODIs as an opening bowler, spread over six years, he hasn't managed to take a single wicket. On average, he bowls about 5.1 overs per game, and those overs are pretty disastrous: a career economy rate of nearly seven doesn't lie. I don't have much more to say other than his bowling was a lot like Shahadat Hossain, if only Shahadat Hossain was much worse.
