I thought you will pick another bowler who has not taken any wickets in ODIs.
Profile
There's quite a range of Kenyan mediocrity to choose from: my original plan of picking up Tony Suji didn't pan out, but the plus side is that I've got a worse cricketer. One who didn't have nearly so many ODI caps, but the reason for the lack of caps is because he could only just about break into the side that Suji was almost never dropped from. In such a mediocre team (which it really was at all times that weren't the 2003 World Cup) that isn't a ringing endorsement.
When Ababu did break into the team, he achieved almost nothing. A purveyor of keeper-up medium-pace in the style of Mark Alleyne, he lacked in wicket-taking ability to an almost impressive extent managing only one every sixteen overs in his One-Day International career. And in his non-ODI List A matches, his record only got worse, not better. Despite this, he would still be recalled occasionally, which led to a career that spanned seven years at the highest level, then six years longer with his final East African Premier League appearance coming in 2013. In it, he went wicketless.
Statistics
ODIS - 29 runs @ 9.66, SR 46.03 (best 17) and 3 wickets @ 85.00, econ. 5.31 (best 1/26) in 9 matches
LIST A - 45 runs @ 9.00, SR n/a (best 17) and 4 wickets @ 91.00, econ. 5.60 (best 1/25) in 13 matches
Role in the Team
Ababu will be our change seamer. He's not there to take wickets and he's not there to keep the runs tight. Who knows what he's there to do.
A note on our bowling attack
This selection completes our five-man attack, and I feel that it's worth pointing out just how bad an attack of Abul, Nkala, Ababu, Venkat and Esmeijer is. Their combined figures are as follows:

Thanks buddy for reminding. I will pick Damien Ravu in place of Stephen Peall. @AislabieArent we only supposed to have one player per country?
Gutted - he was my next pick. Not as a keeper though - he was going to be my number four bat.Stuart Poynter
Looks like we are on the same path. I also had him for a future pick. (Not the next though)Gutted - he was my next pick. Not as a keeper though - he was going to be my number four bat.
