Well, well.
The investigation has been going on for quite some time I believe. The team conducting the investigation has said that many other sports are involved as well. It annoys me whenever I see news like this. What's the point of taking drugs? If you can't win, fine but don't cheat!! I just hope that it isn't as widespread as the team claim.
Cheating in sports is a farce now. First, all the problems in Italy with match fixing, and now another high profile scandal. What more can be done to discourage these people from cheating?
The funniest part is where it says "The 30-year-old American, who claimed victory in the Tour de France on Sunday, has tested positive for the male sex hormone testosterone." What, is he not supposed to have testosterone in his body?! Yeah, I know, he's probably taken some more externally but it still made me chuckle.BBC NEWS said:Tour de France winner Floyd Landis has given a positive drugs test, according to his Phonak team.
The positive test came after stage 17 of the Tour, which saw Landis record an epic victory after struggling on the final climb the day before.
