Dwayne 'Superman' Leverock hangs his boots.

I was just in this forum and spotted the thread. I thought we were talking about our very own leverocks!

Leverock once claimed a silver medal in the 110 metre hurdles at the Junior Caribbean Games as well as playing football at Hull City with Bermudian team Zebras, where he was a striker.

Some interesting facts about Russell Dwayne Mark Leverock

Is a policeman and drives a prison van.

Was the heaviest player in the 2007 World Cup weighing an incredible 280 Pounds.

He also plays football for Bermudian team Zebras in the role of a striker.

Golf is also another sport he plays.

He is the first Bermudian to capture five wicket in an innings when he took 5/53 against Kenya.

His one handed catch of Robin Uthappa in World Cup Cricket 2007 is legendary.

ODI bowling record

Matches 32 (wickets : 32, Best Bowling : 5/53, Ave: 33.02, Economy : 4.00, SR : 49.5)

His decision to retire may have been caused by the fact that Bermuda slumped to a poor 9th position in the 2009 ICC World Cup Qualifier as a result it lost its One Day International status and also eligibility to qualify for 2011 Cricket World Cup.

The surreal catch of Uthappa that he took and the glorious celebration that follows was the sweetest moment of the CWC'07 for me. It meant so much to him, to his team and eventhough he was playing against India, I stood up and clapped for the man. Great fellow

I'm sure Justice Barney will be closely scrutinizing the facts to maintain the "awesomeness" of his Commission :clap

At least for Jesse Ryder his main threat to worlds fatest cricketer contest has been knocked out.

Now where are those donuts I've been saving for a rainy day...
