Post Line-ups Elite League: Australia VIII | Final - The champions of Season VIII are...

henever you introduce new things, it interests me

Form and fitness points like in the USPC, although I shall not reveal these players skill points as I no actual coach who can accurately calculate them.

There'll also be coinciding international tours based on the real life FTP which may rule out certain overseas and local players for a match or two at the most. Teams will be allowed to bring in local/overseas replacements from the player list for a the period during which their players are away. I shall post the full details regarding that once the season gets underway.

@The Author

We have only one :wk: in the squad (Ben Dunk), it will be ideal to have one more. Shikhar Dhawan has been unused in the last season. Can we trade him for any OWK (Opener-wicket keeper)?

Kushal Perara, Robin Uthappa, Craig Kieswetter , etc

Or

We take Kallis for Dhawan and Travis Birt or any other player if trades are left.

Also, I've done up a new write-up for the first post.

Since it's inception in 2012, Elite League: Australia (ELA) has been one of the most consistently running Australian leagues in this forum. After a well run inaugural season by The Author, the reins of the league were handed over to VC the slogger who has been managing it ever since.

ELA has been known to send powerful Australian sides into the PC Champions League. The best example of this is the all conquering West Coast Fever side, which under the stewardship of Fenil dominated the 12th season of the CL and clinched the title quite convincingly. It was said to be the strongest squad ever assembled in a nation-based cricket league in this section, even stronger than the legendary Basnahira Bears which was also managed by Fenil.

However, team reshuffles and subsequent retirements of key players has resulted in West Coast's decline and the balance of power has shifted to the Queensland Firebirds and Sydney Roosters. As a new era in Australian and international cricket dawns, ELA looks to provide the best players with opportunities to showcase their skills in an intense six-team, ten round cricket tournament.

@EARAgAV

Okay, regarding our 'keeper situation, I still reckon we should get rid of Ludeman and bring in Brownlie. It'll just be better for the balance of the team.

I'd also say there's little point in retaining McCullum as a pure batsman - he just won't get into the side - so we should replace him with another gloveman. One of the following:

:wk: Anamul Haque
:wk: Jos Buttler
:wk: Dinesh Chandimal
:wk: Denesh Ramdin

Comfirmed FA trades:

OUT
Tim Ludeman
Brendon McCullum

IN
Dean Brownlie
Jos Buttler

@Aggz, you need to get in a replacement for Sunil Narine. He's not allowed to bowl here until his action gets cleared and you wouldn't want him to play as a specialist batsman.
