I don't see anything biased and wrong with the BBC article, they were pretty much referring to quotes and issues that were addressed from the Daily Telegraph here in Sydney. It is a real shame once again the issue of racism is in the headlines, it certainly does tarnish the Australian crowds reputation. The majority or I'd say 99% of spectators attend the game enjoying the cricket and offer some friendly banter but the 1% of the crowd or the dozen or so stupid spectators just ruin it. I've been to several cricket matches in the past at the SCG and to be honest every time I attend a game I will always hear a group shout racist taunts to players in the vicinity where I am sitting. I still remember what my fomer high school principal consistently say to the school "it takes one person to damage a reputation, but years of hard work to build on it".rickyp said:Whats more pathetic, the fact that someone did say that stuff, or the fact that the BBC talk it up the general crowds in Australia being like this. I'm getting really sick of how the media blows this up out of proportion, you would have to be an idiot to not know that it is just a select amount of people who are racist, not everyone in the MCG.
