England in Australia

Sky have just said there is an outside chance of thunderstorms tomorrow in Brisbane! :D

Lets all do the rain dance! Lets all do the rain dance! ah na na na!

Lol you gotta be joking me! Looks like they could be right too, abc.net.au and smh.com.au have storms on Monday. I knew Ponting had stuffed this up and now if this rain gives England the draw heads should roll!

Irrotev I normally say don't take offence before I post something like this, but I actually couldn't care less regarding you, you seem to have some massive chip on your shoulder regarding England, I don't think you've had a polite word to say about them in this entire thread, are you miserable that your beloved New Zealand have failed to beat Australia in any series in the last god knows how long? So what if we want to moan about Giles and Monty, if you can't play nice, then go and stick to New Zealand based threads. I think you've been more aggressive about this series than any of the English or Aussie posters in this thread, all of whom have been respectful of both sides.

What are the chances? :D

The whole of Australia should be calling for Ponting's head if England get away with a draw.

Oh we will, I'll start the campaign! Hes a great batsmen but his captaincy is way too defensive sometimes. Anyway hopefully all goes well and we don't have to get to that stage.

Stauss statement from interview on Day 4- "It's fair to say we're in second place in this game at the moment,"

ROFL!!! Understatement or what?!

Punter looks like he is struggling with some back problem but seems to have run it off. Great 100 from Langer nice and easily done and Ponting declares straight away.

aussies declare dont take my words for this but 600 could be done about 300 a day and if strauss makes a double hundred and all the rest chip in we might do this :p

Langer's hundred and the declaration follows. Thunderstorms sound promising, but for England to get a draw, they will have to show grit and good shot selection today.

I give England 2 sessions and a smaller score than the first innings. All over just after tea.

Where's the faith Colin?!

I predict a double ton from Bell, Cook and finally Giles to cement himself in the team for the series.

For England to win, they would break so much records. With the way they are going and the form of Australia, don't have high hopes of even getting into the 5th day.

bbc just said that it looks like vaughan is fully fit next test PLEASE!!! he can out captain ponting im sure hes been thinking tactics all year :)
