Dravid made a surprise comback to ODI side. What would you call it? His reward for good form in tests, last chance given to him to take retirement from ODIs respectfully or the lack of good bench strength?

The nature of subcontinent slectors and players will always remain same. If one player able to score in one format they think that he is the best player for all formats.
I hope Dravid will perform in ODIs too otherwise some wise selectors will also drop him form tests.

I would have loved to see Rahane or fit Pujara in the ODI squad in place for Dravid

Dont jump the gun right away....as of now I feel its a pretty good team....but dont know how Dravid will accustom himself in the OD's at this stage of his career. When the series gets over, we will get to know whether the selectors goofed up but as of now their biggest comedy is saying 'shortage of players' .....even Zimbabwe selectors may not say that w.r.t their team....

Probably depends on the pitch but for me a side with Tremlett is stronger than a side with Bopara.
