England In India - October 2011/12

I actually agree, I just like reminding the Indian fans that the number 1 title is BS at best. I personally think SA is the best team

Haha no one really gives a ████ who you think is the best. Rankings show who is the best and number 1. You have problem with every comment that doesn't praise the English team. Even I don't think India is the best team in Test cricket nor do I think any other team is the best in test cricket but its your comments that make me just keep posting these kind of posts praising the India team when I am actually mad about their loss and injuries. Anyone has the right to post what they want from an "Article". I am pretty sure that the rules say that you can't talk here in any other language but it doesn't say you can't refer to an article.

It was just a passage that I liked from the article Binnu have posted above. And even if I do that, what is your problem? Ignore it if you don't like it. I didn't tell you to comment on every single post of mine. And don;t tell me about following rules. I am following it better than yourself.

Don't worry dude, I think he has some internal problems that he needs to deal with first. I am willing to pay his medical bills too if he needs help with those :p

I would put that another way and say "England's current team is not as worse off playing in spin friendly conditions as India is playing in fast bowling friendly conditions".

Except it takes balls to play fast bowling

Nah, Sala and Gandu are two different words. Sala is not an abusive word at all but is used as a slang. It basically means brother of your wife. Gandu however is an abusive word that roughly translates into a gay person at the receiving end.

good, it's exactly what I wanted to say then. I know most of the curse words thanks to my cricket playing days. They come in handy when the telemarketers from India call

Good. A practice match from today against Northants.....though just a 2 dayer. Hope India make good use of this game and come back strong in the remainder of the series....:thumbs

Just now observed....Vaas,Botha,O'Brien and all are there in the Northants team...

But they are not playing. Indian team is looking good. Sehwag,Gambhir,
A Mukund, MS Dhoni†, VVS Laxman, SK Raina, WP Saha, S Sreesanth, Z Khan, A Mishra, MM Patel

Nice

Has Kohli reached England? If he has, then instead of warming the bench,he should have been playing instead of Saha...

On the Trott injury front, no further news, early signs suggest he could be fit for the test next Wednesday at Edgbaston. I have no doubt England will call up a back up for him though, in which case as others have pointed out it's between Bopara and Taylor.

Taylor has outperformed Bopara in the current Lions game, but Ravi has the experience of Test cricket. Big decision, I think they'd go Bopara, but I'd probably go with Taylor.

In the remaining matches, a lot of emphasis will be put on Zaheer Khan and his bowling. It could act as a negative. Can his ailing body take the physical and psychological strain??

I think they will go for Taylor, even though I think they should go for Bopara. He has 3 test centuries and after that started to fail a little bit but was not given the extensive run in the test side like other players have been to improves (Bell, Broad etc). Bopara has also continuously prevailed in the county scene and still not given his due by the England selectors. I'm not sure what else he needs to do.

Ah. There goes Sehwag. Better off, failing here and thumping the England bowlers in the next test :D rather than scoring a big hundred here and losing his middle stump to Anderson in the third test...

I would put that another way and say "England's current team is not as worse off playing in spin friendly conditions as India is playing in fast bowling friendly conditions".

I wouldn't say that. Yes, Bhajji is not in the best form but we all have seen how "GOOD" England played against Saeed Ajmal. This English players are yet to face a quality spin bowling in spinner friendly conditions. And Indians have shown in SA that they can play fast bowling. I think they are either tired in this series or unprepared.

Except it takes balls to play fast bowling

Except it takes some Technique to play spin bowling, Gandu

Its 100 overs per side. The side which scores more in 100 overs are declared winners :) NIce
